"The hotel is located in an area close to many things. The cleanliness of the room was not good; one of the bed blankets had blood on it, as if it hadn't been changed. We were tired and didn’t have the energy to go to the main lobby to ask for a room change, so we opted to just request a clean sheet. ..."

"Everything was perfect. It was home away from home. Lacking nothing . The views were amazing and so cozy. The Host went out of their way to be extra nice. Even filling the fridge with milk, orange juice, eggs and snacks. I would book again and suggest anyone who is staying in Mathews to do the same. ..."

"We loved our stay in this cozy cottage! The windows in the back overlooked the York River and it is so serene. There was plenty of yard for our dog to sniff around and we loved watching the birds in the marshy area. Our host was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. It was very close to Yorktown. ..."
