"The location is great to Main st and Falls. The house is very nice, clean and cozy. Cross street has a nice restaurant which add on for the long journey travelers. Two minutes has barbecue restaurant. We have a wedding at old Edwards farm, only 7 minutes away. highly recommended. Will go back to the house for vacation. "The cabin was wonderful escape from the heat and humidity of Myrtle Beach! The cabin was cozy and comfortable and the location was perfect - situated in between the towns of Highlands and Franklin. "My sister and I stayed 3 nights. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has a great flow. The covered back porch w a waterfall and pond was a pleasant surprise. We were out hiking, sightseeing and shopping during the day and we didn’t cook while we were there so our time in the cottage was limited. It is in a great convenient location. I would definitely stay again - maybe Spring or Fall when the weather is pleasanter! "

"We loved the creek behind the house. There were so many beautiful flowers. (Watch out for bees!) The kids were able to catch salamanders and crawdads. The firepit by the creek is in a perfect location. The smoke even seems to naturally blow away from the hillside, so you can sit by the fire without smoke going in your face. The kitchen provided metal wire marshmallow roasting sticks (very helpful). The hot tub was clean and in great condition. There is a great waterfall hike up the road....

"This was our second time visiting BLR. The first time we stayed near the Greeter's Cottage (ie: the entrance to the community) but the drive to the Lake Club was a long and windy 20min. "Ten of us enjoyed our stay at the property. There was plenty of space for all of us. It was rainy so we spent time playing board games, playing foos ball, going to the gym, and watching movies. When the sun came out we went to see the waterfall that was 5 mins from the house. Gorgeous and you didn’t have to hike to get to it. We also played pickle ball by the gym. So fun.
