The house was so great for our group! We rented both Janie and Stella for a long weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better set up for a large group. Communication from Carmen on check in was the best I’ve ever had from a host, everything was seamless and very clear. She even added personal touches for the birthday celebration!

This home had great Victorian charm! It was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of. We were able to walk to Forsyth Park. It is on a busy street, and you can hear night traffic, but that is typical in a city setting.

The home and related communications were great. This is such a large and beautifully decorated house! The king bed was very comfortable with nice linens. There were plenty of extra towels and various other extra supplies as well. And we really appreciated the photos to help us ensure we were at the right place, including the designated parking. All was just as we would wish for it to be and we had a very nice stay. A couple of notes for those not familiar with Savannah: 1) It's Savannah, so there are stairs. Don't be surprised by this. 2) There is often traffic noise at night when staying in this part of the city. The owners helpfully have provided white noise machines in each bedroom. Word to the wise: bring noise blocking earbuds or old-fashioned ear plugs and/or choose the bedroom away from the street. Enjoy your stay!

Girl Scout trip to Savannah

The property was very clean, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities that you would expect in a high-end VRBO. The furniture was incredibly comfortable. All nine of us had a great time staying here. The house was very friendly, and kept in great communication with us every step of the way.

Southern Retreat

Beautiful and charming Victorian style four bedrooms upstairs; downstair has a elegant parlor room and dining room which provided perfect meeting spaces. Old fashion tup was an added surprise. The only drawback was early morning traffic noise from the street, but it was expected as we knew the location of the property. We'll take this charming home again for our next visit to Savannah.

Perfect Home and Hosts!!

Wow! What a great stay. My wife and I booked four nights and truly loved the home. Great location - designated parking at the house and was located such that it allowed us to walk all around Historic Savanah. It's about a 5 minute walk to Forsyth park and only 30 minutes all the way to the river. The home is beautiful and well equipped. And........the Hosts were outstanding! Friendly and caring regarding our comfort and needs. Can't say enough good things about them!!! My next trip to Savannah? I'll be right back to this property and these hosts!! What a great experience and it truly made our trip fantastic!

Fabulous House!

Our stay at the Janie was amazing. Carmen and Joe were excellent hosts and gave us advise for things to do around the city and our check in and out process couldn't have been any easier. The location was perfect. Just a few short blocks from Forsythe Park. There were 4 women so having 4 separate bedrooms was great. The Victorian house itself is really beautiful but it is also furnished very beautifully and very comfortably. Everyone in our group thought the mattresses were very comfortable and linens great. Everything you could ask for was provided. The kitchen and baths were well supplied. If I had to give one or two things that weren't the best, one would be the traffic noise coming from loud cars, cars playing music very loudly and motorcycles. It was a little difficult to sleep in, especially in the front bedrooms facing the road but not a deal breaker by any means. Secondly, it rained in the middle of the night and there must be a broken rain gutter on the side of the house because the sound of rain drops hitting hollow metal sounded like someone hitting a cowbell all night. We laughed at this because 2 of us said it was a cowbell but it was loud and affected the 3 sleepers along the side of the house. Savannah is such a beautiful and walkable city. Definitely go to the farmers market Saturday mornings at Forsythe Park. We used Uber or Lyft rides in the evenings. I would stay at the Janie again!
