Most importantly, The Stay Heirloom team was super accessible / responsive when issues arose (mostly small things: missing light bulbs, dead fan batteries, oddly-locked powder room door, wi-fi not working.) Property was fantastically located - walking distance to so much we wanted to see/do in Savannah. Beds are comfortable and with enough pillows/towels. We rented both the main house and the carriage house for a girls weekend, and it was a great setup, well supplied with sufficient serveware for a large party (we were 9 total). Overall, the property had some deferred maintenance issues that needed to be addressed, and we were disappointed to note that some of the listing photos didn't really match the experience upon arrival - but the team did a great job responding. Loved relaxing around the plunge pool area with our feet soaking ... but as other reviews have noted - it IS heated more like a 'low grade hot tub' at least during the still-warm fall season. Will be amazing through the winter months! Garage is a great amenity - but definitely scaled for a compact car. I rated it 4/5 because the "value" for the investment felt a little off : the number of issues we encountered made it feel a little 'less luxury' than the pricetag it was commanding.

The location was great! Amenities were great and it’s a beautiful place, looked exactly like the pictures. The only issues were one of the bedrooms didn’t seem to have the sheets changed, it had some black marks and hair on the sheets and food on the blanket. We had an issue with the carriage house lock but they were able to help us get into it fairly quickly once we called. I would recommend staying here.

Great Location in Town

Location of this property is excellent. It is in a beautiful area and walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, and sites. It was perfect for our big group providing plenty of sleeping accomadations.

Great location - but the house needs some TLC

The location was great and we had quick responses whenever reaching out to the management team.Unfortunately the houses (we rented both halves of the duplex) seemed a not to be in the best condition. The furniture was sparse and torn/stains, limited kitchenware availability, uneven heating, doors that needed to be closed just right or they would pop open, wifi that was not strong enough to use, etc. The one shower leaked through the ceiling of the room below! Essentially leaving our group (bed space for 10) sharing two showers for that duplex.

It was a pleasant stay. The carriage house was amazing. Some small issues, that did not detract from the stay but should be addressed; The pool water fall feature was not working, pool service stated it was off do to a broken pipe (Would of been nice if functional). Please consider adding a hand rail to the divider wall for steps leading from the main house down to carriage house. Elderly member had some issues navigating with out a hand rail. Ice maker in refrigerator did not work, Main floor ceiling fan non-functional. Top floor bath sink slow drain. A few bed comforters were slightly damp first night, cleaning staff did not dry fully before placing on bed. Other wise this was a very retreat and stay. Hosts responded quickly to any questions we had through out the process. We would come back again.

Amazing house, even better location

Had a great experience for my bachelorette weekend! The house is beautiful and exactly as advertised. Very clean. Location is very central, could walk to River St / downtown. We enjoyed the little pool in the backyard during the summer heat. PS - for any future bachelorettes, there is a deflated diamond ring pool float in the closet on the main floor!

Listing changed last minute

I want to start out and say that the house was well maintained and overall, the management company was helpful and quick to respond. It is in a great, walkable location and we loved the little pool. This listing has a sister listing that has the same layout, but a different bed set up. I booked this one specifically because the bed setup worked for our large group. Within an hour of check in, the listing that I had originally booked had switched to the other listing and when we checked in, it was the wrong house. There was another group that was checking in at the same time to the other house. Because of this change, we had some people sleeping on cots and a couch. Working with the management company, I was refunded a few hundred dollars for this inconvenience but I personally would not book with them again because we did not get what we were expecting and for a large group coming out of town, this is unacceptable.

Lovely wedding stay

Overall the property is exactly as advertised. We did have some issues with noisy neighbors at 1:30 am, and the upholstered furniture could sure use cleaning, but minor problems, and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location and property!

Stayed here with friends. Wonderful location central to several Savannah gems. Would definitely stay again. The only thing to note is that the heated pool is more like a hot tub versus a pool but other than that, no complaints. :)

Location location location

In town for an extended family event. This property was perfect for 3 families to stay together. The location allowed for exploring the squares and other interesting tidbits of history. Lots of space to spread out. Beware of the on street parking. One side is pay the meter the other is free.

Great location

We rented both the main and carriage house. Location of the house was great and no issues with finding street parking in front of the property. The garage was a bit tight for our car. The pool is primarily just for dipping and had issues with back gate not locking. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

The houses were great. Location fabulous.

My only complaint is that from past reviews I learned that the ice maker had been broken. I called before going to inquire about this and the person I spoke to said they could see that a past work order had been placed and he assumed it was it was probably repaired….it wasn’t. I do feel this request should either happen or it should be put on the listing that the refrigerators do not produce ice. This would be helpful to know ahead of time so bags of ice could be purchased by the renter when they go to the grocery store.

Family gathering.

We were very happy with the listing and the attentiveness of the property manager. We occupied the main house and the carriage house. The overall rating was given a 4 because neither unit had ice. The main house did not have a working freezer. A small apartment size refrigerator freezer was provided but no capability of ice. We ended up having to buy ice which is not expected in a rental at this price point. The pool was a nice touch, but it is really just a “cocktail” pool. The home decor was very nice in both units, but the furnishings in the main house could use a hardy cleaning. All in all the property is a very nice rental. Good location - close to downtown, but in a quiet residential neighborhood.
