Fun in the sun

The pool was amazing! A quick walk to the beach which was great for families and kids. The outside screened porch was perfect for relaxing and watching the kids in the pool

Filthy pool

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the grandchildren were looking forward to jumping in the pool, but the pool was green when we arrived. It took 3 days before it was swimmable! The management company did not call the pool company as promised. When they finally arrived the afternoon of the 2nd day they were shocked at what they found. It was a very disappointing start to our vacation. The pool was not crystal clear until the day we left. First impressions are everything!!!

Family celebration

House was large and had great spaces for people to do different things and not bother others. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. Outside areas were huge with beautiful pool/hot tub and additional space for tents or tables. Outdoor shower out front was nice for after beach time. The construction site next door unfortunately had multiple cars/motorcycles during our 5 day stay and we were called 4/5 times every day because they parked in our spaces causing the parking ticket police to come ask if the cars were ours. That was a hassle and could be avoided if outside signs were hung. Great remodeling job and comfy beds! Great parking area for 4 cars too!

Family vacation

Overall, our stay was good. Good location and the pool was a great feature. However the floors were very dirty as they were not mopped. You will need to bring your own paper products and trash bags.

Long wait for check-in

The pool needed a good cleaning. We waited for over an hour to get our check-in code after 4pm check-in time. They gave no true reason as to why it was late or any communication stating it would be late. The house itself was nice and we did enjoy it. It was nice having a private pool and large enough patio for some of our wedding party to come enjoy it with us. I would rent again.

Bare Bones Beach & Pool Rental

For being in a beach town with a pool, This house had absolutely nothing for guests to enjoy either! No cushions for the outdoor furniture so we were unable to sit on either of the patios. No beach towels provided despite the house having its own pool, and no beach chairs or umbrellas. For thousands of dollars a night there was not even salt and pepper provided! Hopefully what we bought is kept for the next renters and not taken by management! For hosting a bachelorette weekend the lack of outdoor cushions for the outdoor seating was a major upset. We contacted TYBeE rentals throughout our stay asking where the cushions were and the worst part was they had no idea! Nor did they care that they were missing or help locate them. Avoid this house if you are looking for a relaxing vacation!

Tybee Treasure

We loved our stay- we paid extra to heat the pool and it was so worth it. We brought our bikes and were able to bike to the ocean and to local shops. We spent a lot of time in the neighboring park. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Really great stay

The house is very cute, with all the amenities and comfortable beds. Close walk to the beach and right next to a small, cute park. Wished we could see the ocean, but for the price, it was very close.

Impressed

We had a group of 10, 4 adults and 6 kids, and this property met all of our expectations. It is a short walk (maybe 3 minutes) from the beach and it has a nice park beside it. The house was in great condition and the pool was very nice. We paid to have it heated and it stayed around 89 degrees. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the property!

Very Nice Getaway

Home was in a great location, close to the park and the beach. Very well maintained. Only complaint would be about the pool heater. There was no instructions about how to control the heat and by the last day of our stay, the heater stopped working altogether.

Nice stay but could have improved

We love the area. It's very close to the beach and right next to a park. The only complaint we have is about the listing. It stated that there is a heated pool. It wasn't. I called the manager when we tried to control the pool temp and the control panel was disconnected. They said on a separate portion of the listing in fine print that they don't heat the pool in winter months. What's the point of having a heater if it can't be heated when it's cold? That line should be removed from the listing because it was the only reason we selected that house. Very misleading. We were pretty disappointed but the house is nice so that"s cool

The house was beautiful well maintained and had everything we needed. The only down side was the spa/pool heat didn’t work after the house lost power during our stay but we received a partial refund for this. I would stay here again even with the issue we had. Great area short walk to the beach and lighthouse. We loved Tybee Island.

Annual Family Vacation

We were looking for a different vacation destination, and Tybee Island did not disappoint us. This was our first visit to Tybee Island. The house was very nice for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler. The outside pool and hot tub was amazing, as well as the outdoor seating . Would vacation here again.

Perfection!

Was hesitant when there were zero reviews on this home, but reading it was just remodeled, I figured that was the case. Boy did we make the right choice! This was our first visit to Tybee Island. What a fantastic home, and in a phenomenal location on Tybee! Check in was flawless and took all of 5 min. Keyless entry to the home is terrific. Check out was electronic (from smartphone) and took 5 seconds. The way this house was remodeled and setup was just beautiful. Family loved it, size was perfect and we had 1 problem over the 10 days we were there and it was fixed immediately (door lock had an issue). Worth mentioning only because the property management team was all over it in minutes when I reported the issue and fixed immediately. Truly amazing staff at Tybee Vacation Rentals. Location to the beach was a 4-7 min walk. Coming back from the beach, showering in the outdoor shower and then jumping in the pool was just awesome. Afternoon drinks and dinners on the screened in porch were just beyond fun and relaxing. Really provided great family time during dinners. Only thing to be aware of...The TVs in the house are Roku TV's, not cable TV. So your viewing options will be somewhat limited unless you are a Netflix and/or Sling customer...then, no big deal. My kids use both and we had zero issues, but for those that don't, sign up for a free 7 day trial, use it and then cancel :) Strongly suggest renting a golf cart for your time on Tybee (reserve the moment you book this house as there is only one place that rents them and they sell out quick)...so much easier than dragging a car around the island. That beach commute with a cart drops to about 2 min if that! Also suggest electric as the gas ones are pretty darn loud. Plan your grocery visits as well. The one island place is ok in a pinch (very small), but there is a Kroger and a Publix about 15 min away, off Tybee, easy to get to, but not right around the corner. We WILL be back to Tybee and this will always be the property we shoot for. Very rare to find a place so well done, well kept and in such a great location. Thank you for having such a wonderful place to call home while on Tybee! Until next year!
