We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. It was quaint and modern. It was not only equipped with everything we needed from the kitchen to the upstairs, it was more than we expected. The washer and dryer was a big plus for us as well. Best stay we have had in Savannah. Loved that everything was in walking distance, and the host left us lots of ideas for entertainment and eating. The Lucky Savannah staff were more than accommodating and very quick to provide us the information needed. Everything down to transactions, entering the home and check out were amazingly easy and secure. I can't say enough about how much we loved staying at Writers Repose. This property was a great find for us. We had a girl’s trip for a week and the location was very convenient. The courtyard was charming and it was very clean. Parking is on the street but we always found a spot nearby. It is an easy walk to Forsyth Park and several attractions as well. We had a wonderful stay!

Great Space

We loved this place, it had everything we needed except the second shower. I would totally stay here again with my husband, but because we had three teenage boys, one shower just was a struggle. We made it work for the short time we were there tho. It was totally walkable as well.

Beautiful restored home in a perfect spot. You can walk most anywhere at a casual stroll, breakfast, historic district, even the waterfront if you have the time. The house is lovely, clean, and comfortable.

Great homemade revisiting Savannah

The writers repose was perfectly located in downtown Savannah. It was great to walk every where and enjoy the wonderful things to see and do in the city. The courtyard is magical and the rest of property is clean and well stocked. Our family will definitely be coming back.

Girls weekend in Savannah

This is a beautiful place. I highly recommended. The listing is true what everybody stated. Cozy the beds are amazing pillows the kitchen. The outdoor sitting area is beautiful very cozy. Total five stars for everything.

University of Delaware College Roommate Get Away

This house was the perfect house for a little get together with college roommates. It was in a great location close to Forsyth Park and walking distance to everything you want to do in Savannah. It is a quiet area and is walking distance to a wine and beverage store as well as grocery store located just a few blocks away. We opted to walk everywhere and walked over 67,000 steps during our three night four day stay in Savannah. Ubers are plentiful for anyone who does not want to walk. We hit all 22 squares and every spot in between. I would recommend this house to anyone who loves to walk. I would be cautious booking this house if you have younger children or older adults who can't do stairs. There are stairs to get into the front of the house and once you enter onto the landing there is a set of stairs for bedrooms and bathroom upstairs as well as a couple stairs going down into the living area. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only recommendation I can think of is to provide some starter items for guests. (Paper towels, extra toilet paper, dish detergent and hand soap would be helpful. It would also be nice to have plastic wrap or plastic bags in the kitchen area.) Most people I would guess are flying in and are unable to bring these items. Courtyard was adorable!

Savannah Tourists

Met friends in Savannah for a weekend getaway to tour Savannah. Home was close enough to walk or uber around to the sites. The home was clean, comfortable and charming. Exactly what you see online. The management company was quick to respond to any issues we had and rectified them easily. Early check in/late check out is not an option without fees but to be expected.
