The perfect spot for an entire crew

So this place is amazing. The history, the location and the bar underneath ( and its employees ) ((ask for gizmo)).Because of the age the noise can be loud but it was actually fun. The construction behind it was not that bad at all. I would come back to this location everytime!!! We all fell in love with the place.

Great for group outing

We booked this location for a bachelorette party and it was great - excellent proximity to bars and activities, and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. There is bar in the basement of the property that is also a great hangout spot for guests over 21 (although it does get somewhat loud at night as you can hear the music through the floor, which we didn't mind but others might). The property managers were extremely responsive throughout our stay and check-in and check-out was extremely straightforward. Would definitely book again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: W-O-W, this spot was FUN. Yes, were we above a bar that played music? Of course but it did not stop us from having our fun. We were able to walk to so many restaurants, bars, and grab drinks from Abes on Lincoln below the rental for a pre-game. My friends and I LOVED this spot for our three days of fun in Savannah.

Weekend with family and friends

Great location for a group of friends looking to enjoy restaurants and nightlife. Convenient to Bay and River street. The Bar below the location is fun. It closes around 3am. Parking is in a parking deck approx 75 yards away. The parking was a little pricey. I would be a repeat customer at this location. No complaints.

Don’t Stay Here

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely horrible experience. The description notes you’re above a bar. It does not include that the bar plays dubstep and rap until 3am every single night and the entire house literally shakes. Glad we did not bring kids. Bar patrons smoke cigarettes that filter into the main bedroom. Worst vacation rental experience of my life. I’m embarrassed to have been the one to have suggested this place. We were exhausted every day due to lack of sleep. Trip was ruined and we all went home infuriated. It’s also literally next to a construction site. There was what appeared to be a bloodstain on a bedroom pillow.

Lovely place close to everything!

My friends and I came here to celebrate our friend getting married! This was such an easy process and very clean and spacious! We were able to walk to everything! The only downsides were the parking garage was a little bit of a walk but only 10 for the weekend! We went when there was construction so if you’re looking for a place to rest peacefully and get a good nights sleep this isn’t the place. The bar below is open until 3am and you hear EVERYTHING. Then construction starts at 7am including weekends. We weren’t sleeping much anyway so it didn’t really bother me so just a heads up:) overall this place was great and I’d definitely stay again! Until next time Georgia!!

Beautifully preserved building is steps from scenic river walk

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This wonderful property has kept all the charm of a two-century old building while updating the kitchen, bathrooms, & laundry to luxury rental status. This unit is near everything, so no need for a car, and the property management team was a dream to work with (they were even responsive early on a Sunday morning when I had a question). Know before you go: This is above a bar, and you'll feel and hear it until 3 am some nights. This may be a dealbreaker for some, but my guests and I were fine with earplugs & a sound machine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at Abe's Abode. The location was perfect and we appreciated the ample bathroom space for getting ready. Beds were comfortable. We spent some time at the bar downstairs too. If you are a super light sleeper, please note that you can hear the bar pretty clearly but it didn't bother us at all. My only feedback is that the floors in the unit could have been cleaner.

The place is just above Abe’s on Lincoln which is a great bar, but you can hear everything.

The bar closes late with stragglers hanging outside the bar afterwards and they are by no means quiet. It kept the four of us up every night until about 4 am. I would not stay here again unfortunately. It really killed the mood.

Us, Abe and Wine 🍷

This is such a cool spot for a girls or guys trip. We loved the fact that it’s above the local dive bar. They’re open until 3 am, so when you and your friends get done walking around the rest of the town, you can continue drinking and dancing downstairs and conveniently walk up the steps to your VRBO stay. The house is pretty antiquated, with the original flooring and doors/frames - we found that super cool and unique. I was grateful for the flat screen smart tv’s and the dishwasher! Oh and not to mention this home is featured on Ghost City Tours Pub Crawl. That made our stay so much more entertaining haha. Overall the location of the home is perfect with everything being within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is a feels like a historic property but all baths and kitchen have been refreshed. Beds were comfortable and, importantly, the A/C worked very well. Sounds from Abe's was noticeable but did not disturb us.

Reviewer Comments: House was in great location, easy to walk around to the main downtown areas of Savannah. Bathroom and bedrooms were a nice layout. House is directly above a dive bar that is very loud in the evenings (DJ playing on the weekends). The rental is an old house so there is not great insulation between the bar and the upstairs. Unfortunately I would not stay here again because of the noise.
