The location of the house is fantastic. It’s a short walk to the heart of the Historic District. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. There is no dining/ kitchen table, and no place to eat or work except the sofas and wooden barstools at a small kitchen counter. This was an issue for me, since I was on a working vacation and there was no place in any room to sit with a computer. We also wanted to eat some meals at home, which was not easy with this set up. If you’re just coming to explore downtown Savannah and will not be eating or working at the house, this wouldn’t be an issue.
The a/c in the house worked well but the humidity was off the charts— close to 80% at times with a musty smell. I called the property manager to ask about a dehumidifier, and was just told there wasn’t one. So if there are any allergy issues in your group, this is something to consider. We have lived other places in SAV and have not had this issue. We wouldn’t return to this property for these reasons, but the location is great.
