My Brother's Bachelor Party

We had a small group of guys attend my brother's bachelor party, and the space was perfect for us for what little time we did spend in the unit. I enjoyed being on the street with the deck out front. My only concern was two designated parking spaces, but when you're downtown, parking is hard to come by, so I understood that. When a car was in one of our spots, communication with property managers was very easy. They contacted the other guests, and since it was people in the unit below us, we agreed upon ourselves no one needed to move their cars. Overall a great stay.

Family Easter weekend

Location great because walking distance to Forsyth Park; however it’s about 1-2 blocks from the nicer homes. Area is a bit shabbier and very loud at night, but felt safe. Home is roomy but definitely needs a refresh with deep cleaning and paint.

Convenient and Large

Large home accommodated our large family of 7 adults. The location worked well as it was within easy walking or Uber distance from multiple locations we needed to be at. House had all necessary items, including TVs in each bedroom. Only drawbacks: This is an old home, with creaky floorboards, a stair rail that doesn't seem "code" height and poor lighting (particularly in the bathrooms, which seem to have one a single bulb). And though this is not the fault of VRBO or the homeowner, throughout our stay, there was a prominent smell of marijuana. It appears that this came from the connected rowhouse next door, and was particularly present downstairs, starting at 9 a.m.

Decent stay

Upon arrival, the two alloted parking spots are small so, if you have an oversized vehicle; and another vehicle in your party you can forgot it! And its on a dirt road entrance. While the home is an older well kept home; the doors in todays world aren't the most secure in my opinion. While the area seems safe; this home sits on a well traveled road in Savannah. If you're a light sleeper and the master is your bedroom, good luck! Sleeping comfortably at night was a struggle with the busy street. Also, the lighting in the master bwdroon and bathroom is terrible! The wall panel is confusing and didn't aeem to work. The home was pretty tighty, but needs some arrention in the high touch areas had some cobwebs that need some attention. The wash needed to be cleaned badly. The rubber tubbing was moldy. And needed some attention as well. And the hot warm was not hot to my liking for showers. Warm at best!

Decent place to stay- beware of extra charges

There was plenty of room for 8 of us girls. The dishwasher and garbage disposal was broken. The sink had a bad smell, but we weren’t planning to use the kitchen anyways. We checked out Sunday morning. It is now the following Thursday and I received an email stating that I will be charged an extra cleaning fee for pet hair. Our unit had NO animals whatsoever as this was a bachelorette trip we traveled 6 hours for. The unit below us did have two large dogs, but that has no relation to us. Hopping that this can be resolved.

NOT a premier host property

I was very dissatisfied with my stay. Our stay was for 3 nights. The check in was smooth and the house was clean, however parking area is covered in trash. The first morning we found that the refrigerator does not cool. I reached out to the host to advise and the response was that they have a mini fridge as a back up. This tells me that the owner already knows there is a problem with the fridge and nothing was said to us. We were told to keep our food in the mini fridge. I explained that our food and drinks will not fit in the mini fridge and they will bring dry ice to keep food in cooler. This was the morning of day 2 and we did not receive the dry ice until the afternoon of our 3rd day. Back to the morning of day 2 when I first reached out to the host I later advised them tge kitchen island has roaches coming out of the island and that the AC upstairs is not cooling now. The Host was very slow to respond. The AC was fixed that night but they sent an exterminator the next day (last day) and he advised if he sprays it will drive the roaches out so we declined. We spoke with Kylie via text regarding these issues as the host just stopped helping & we know Kylie worked so hard to resolve our issue. There is no water pressure in the home and the water heats to warm at best. there was not enough towels for everyone and no cleaning products left for us to clean during our stay. I would caution anyone looking at this property.

Great Stay

Our stay was so comfortable. Loved the house. The only thing that wasn’t so good was the parking. The other tenants around house had visitors that parked behind us making it hard to get in and out of our parking spot.

Beautiful Historic Property

We had a great time during our stay. The house was clean and had lots of space. The dining table is huge so everyone could gather together. We didn’t have any issues so I cannot comment on the agency’s response, but they reached out to make sure we were doing okay so I suspect they would be very responsive if anything went wrong.

Close to Forsyth park. Near bus to downtown (free). 30 minute walk downtown. Plenty of room for everyone. Need to bring kitchen supplies. Pots pans glasses dishes flatware are plenty.

Good location to Historic Savanah

The property is convenient to historic Savanah. It was generally clean and not any issue. We did have a running toilet in the front bedroom’s bath that I shut the water off before going to bed. Sent a note to the property manager they said they’d come out but we didn’t have a repair before we left a two days later. The house worked well for the three couples that stayed there. The neighborhood is rough looking but we didn’t have any problems. I would stay again if they do a little refreshing; painting, floor restoration, doors closing properly, blackout shades in the front bedroom. Overall good experience

Co parenting and blended family traveling.

Will definitely stay here again. It was the perfect blend of old time Savannah feels but still close enough to everything around town. The inside was hands down beautiful. If it were ever for sale, we want to buy.

Savannah Trip with family

Communication with Southern Belle was amazing! Checked on us when we got there to make sure we had no issues, which the house was great! Extremely clean, beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in in any rental property! We do kind of wish they stated it was an Upper unit only because of the stairs and the back alley entrance. The neighborhood was not ideal for walking at night, it was a tad rough. But it was a 4 minute drive to a garage on Bay Street! We would definitely rent this property again,

Great spot

Access to creekside, private heated garage, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable. The reserved spot in the Village was a nice perk. Had everything we needed for a getaway to Whistler. Host was very communicative as well when we had questions. Thank you.
