Beautiful Apartment in Downtown Savannah

We were very pleased with this property. The location on Jones street we learned is one of the most beautiful streets in Savannah. It was quiet and a convenient location. There’s a lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Truly a GEM

Amazing location on Jones. All of the things we wanted to do were within an easy walk. Perfect for two, but could sleep 4 with the pull out couch. This truly is a wonderful place to stay in a perfect location! The only critique - and it’s a small one - is the pitter patter of little feet upstairs. Perfectly fine with us as they subsided early each night.

Perfect location if interested in history, photography, and restaurants in Savannah. Description was vague in the sense that vrbo was a “basement” type apartment so not much light and kind of drab interior. But exterior is Jones St, so beautiful homes! Nevertheless, location was perfect with regards to our interests.

We sure lucked out on this rental. Perfect location with all necessary amenities including recommendations. Easy parking and we spent most of our time walking around historic Savannah. Highly recommend. Jones St is truly beautiful!

A real gem!

Charming, comfortable apartment in a beautiful building, on a beautiful street in Old Savannah. The location was excellent! We walked everywhere, and especially enjoyed looking at all the beautiful homes, gardens and parks.The apartment was charming, comfortable and immaculate. Staying here added to our experience of historic Savannah.

Gem on Jones Savannah March 2024

Property overall was great. Wonderful location; easy to walk to restaurants, downtown, etc. Kitchen in unit totally updated. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom a bit small, but overall good and no problems. Internet speed fast. Check-in and check-out easy. The couch (sofa bed) seemed like it sat low; was much easier to stand up if two cushions were used. Other than that, the only negative was the dog upstairs. No barking, but when he ran across the floor it was very apparent. During the day or evening we kind of ignored it, but every morning between 6 and 6:30 when he/she apparently needed to wake his owner to go outside it was a bit annoying. Not sure if this is a permanent issue or temporary with a renter, but just beware.

We were staying in the lower unit and if you want quiet this is not the place to stay. We heard everyone walking on the unit above you they had dogs up there and they were running all over. It sounded like they were right on top of your head every morning at 5 o’clock the dogs would wake us up. We never could sleep later than 530Am The photos on the ad made it look like it was a really bright room. It’s very dark. The only room that has any sunshine coming in is the kitchen. The living room in the bedroom bathrooms are very dark. there were no hand towels or dish rags. We went and purchased them ourselves. The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable very worn no support. My back was very sore. Other than that the location was great and we had a wonderful time

Gem on Jones

The unit was perfect and as advertised. Lucky Savannah staff was incredibly responsive and so helpful. The only issue we had was the noise level with the renters above us who had minor children, running around. Lucky Savannah assisted us with communicating with them. They also advised to contact them directly for future reservations, since they can provide more information about their rentals and if families are renting in the area. Of course they don’t violate privacy, but can provide general information which VRBO may not. The location of this unit was perfect. I don’t recommend Old Town Trolley, which is highly recommended. Their trolleys were always filled to capacity and the wait times were anywhere between 30-50 minutes, waiting on the next one, despite their advertised 15 minutes. Consider other trolley companies which appeared more accessible with open seats. Other than that, the trip was great.

House on the prettiest street!

The location is perfect for walking to everything in Historical Savannah. The house is a real find. Spacious for two (or four could easily stay). The bathroom is very small. Just take shifts to use. Washer and dryer were very helpful. (Bring own soap.) Free parking on street. Easy to access. Communication was excellent. Thank you Lucky Savannah. Overall a clean, quiet neighborhood on the prettiest street.
