The heated pool was to far away, the pictures were deceiving, no dressers to put clothes in. Bed was rock hard, neighbors walking around nude with blinds open.

Great place to stay in Savannah

Property was clean, comfortable and as-described. It was very convenient to walk to various areas around Savannah and the city center. We were able to find free parking close by. I would definitely stay here again.

Charming place to stay. Well appointed and fully furnished and equipped for needs. There are steps up to unit so be aware if that if that is a hinderance. No parking included. All street parking in Savannah is pay except for Sunday. Unit access is on an alley so you can’t park at the door. Overall a great unit. Just some logistical things to be aware. Host/management company very communicative and promontory replies.

Nice but did not meet our needs

The property was very nice. I have accessibility issues and this unit can be very difficult for someone in my condition. There are 25 plus stairs you must climb to enter the unit and there is not a separate shower. While the Claw Foot Tub has character, it is very difficult to get in and out of and using it for a shower is very tight. I find no fault with the property owners, it was on me to ensure the property would work for me but I do think the listing could be a little more descriptive. We rented the unit for 9 days but had to find other accommodations after 3 days. Turned out to be a very expensive vacation. Live and learn.

Two problems with it otherwise fine

I HATE leaving a negative review but don't want others to not know what to expect. The area is great. Savannah is beautiful. This is a little weird in that you enter from behind, next to the garage basically, your second floor balcony overlooks an alley/other people's backyard. Not a real problem, just different. The place is nice inside. Decorated beautifully, the clawfoot tub is cool. My problem with the place was, 1. The bed is as hard as a rock. Hardest I've ever slept on and I'm 65 and have traveled a lot. My wife, who likes a hard bed, couldn't sleep either. Both of us had back problems and were exhausted during our stay and after because of it. 2. The TV is useless because there was no TV remote, just a firestick, which does not power the TV on and off, nor does it control volume. There's a power button under the TV, but no volume control. So we couldn't watch TV. There were no instructions for the TV either. Not a deal killer but a significant annoyance. I reached out with a message and was answered by a very nice person who was filling in for the owner and tried very hard to help. It was our second of three nights that I reported this. Nothing was done about it and so our third night was tv-less as well. And that's a customer service problem. Maybe the last client stole or hid the remote and that's forgiveable for that night. But when you have the ability to correct it on the third day and don't, that's a problem. Won't stay here again. Sorry.

Couples trip to Savannah

We stayed Thursday night through Sunday morning. It is within walking distance of River Street for most individuals. It is approximately 1 mile to River Street. This saved us on Ubers etc. Just be sure you pack comfortable walking shoes! It is a shorter distance to nearby restaurants. We loved Clarys for breakfast. The only negative thing we had to say about our stay was that there are no blackout curtains by the bed. The sun shines into the room extremely early and it is almost impossible to sleep in. It would be very nice if they added long blackout curtains over the balcony doors or something similar that could be opened and closed at leisure.

Email Issues

I experienced email issues while trying to download the check-in instructions. Multiple times, I had to request and attempt to download the instructions, but due to problems with my computer, I had to repeat this process several times. The final time I requested the instructions, I received a text from Joy, and I could sense her frustration with my computer issues. As someone in sales with a good understanding of customer service, I recognize that Joy was very patient up to that point. However, after reading her text, I felt like I was a bother to her, which made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her. Thank you. Other than that everything was great.

Fantastic!!!!

Really had a great stay!!! Been to Savanah dozens of times this was the first time we didnt rent a car. Looked at the location and just came to the conclusion every we wanted to do was within walking distance. Proved to be a great decision. We went to all the sites, restaurants walking and got to all very quickly. This VRBO is in a lane so gets little to no traffic so very quiet. It was well equipped, nicely furnished and looked great. The management company reached out routinely to see if we needed anything that, was a nice touch. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Fabulous 50

The space was very comfortable and we had a relaxing time bringing in 50th Birthday. We loved the little touches like the sound machine, the decor, the extra pillows. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and great to walk around in. Bottled water of a water filter jar would have been great as we got in really late and didn't have any water to drink and weren't sure about faucet water. We had a wonderful time in Savannah!!
