Hidden important property details and odd surprises

Upon arrival for our private getaway, we discovered we were sharing the property with guests that were staying in a carriage house in the back yard. Access to the carriage house was via the back yard on a path that was 40 feet from our hot tub. The information about the carriage house was tucked away under the “about the host” section of the VRBO listing instead of in the “property details” section.We also learned after arrival that the hot tub was clothing required, there was not a privacy fence on one side of the property, the hot tub temperature controls were not operational and the AC in the house could not be adjusted below 70F. Any of these details would have been reason for us not to choose this location had they been know prior to booking.The hosts were gracious and timely with communications.

We had the BEST time staying here for our first time visiting Savannah. This house is located is a quiet neighborhood and almost right in the middle of Tybee Island and downtown Savannah. The commute to everything is so quick and easy and was the perfect place for us to stay with our family. The hot tub was a nice added bonus! Next time we are in Savannah, this will be our number one pick. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Excellent stay once again

Excellent and Responsive Hosts!

Our stay started just as Hurricane Helene hit Savannah. Thus, our needs were exceptional. And even though the hosts were also affected by the hurricane, they were always exceptionally quick to respond and made the absolute best of a difficult and unprecedented weather event. I would highly recommend renting with these hosts!

nice house in quiet neighborhood

We had a good stay here, The hosts were very responsive. when we checked in, it was just dumb luck that the smoke alarm battery went off, but they were over and had the issue fixed in a few minutes. The house was comfortable and nicely decorated. I think the check-out instructions were some of the easiest we have ever had. I would consider staying again if / when we come back to Savannah.

Quiet neighborhood

It’s a lovely home with a great backyard. Has a swimming pool and hot tube. It’s only 10 minutes from the beach. There is a small place in the backyard they rent out as well. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful home with awesome hosts! The hot tub was great, the beds were comfortable, as was the entire home. A short drive to downtown Savannah and we enjoyed our stay very much. We could have used more towels, (at least two per person) but it was a minor inconvenience.
