"Lovely to wake up to a view of the ocean but there was a road between us! However Savaneta was lovely and the little restaurant out back for breakfast and dinner a gem! Friendly staff. Small functional room."

"We just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary at this villa and let me say that the description is spot on and then some! We stayed one week. Dan, the property owner, was very communicative and his staff Fierre and his colleague went above and beyond! The little touches like a welcome bowl with a touching note that was personalized! They left a bottle of wine and 2 beers in the fridge! The soaps were ample and smelled delicious! We had never experienced an BNB before this trip and we are now...

"This place was a home away from home. Simple and quaint!! Marie and John were wonderful host. They shared local favorites for restaurants and beaches. Told us where to snorkel with turtles and what were things we had to do while there. We suggest you rent a car as you are away from the tourist area but that is exactly what we wanted. The beach out front did not disappoint. You can still drive a short distance to get to all the hustle and bustle and the tourist attractions and then return back...

"The view from our second floor balcony could not have been better. Apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was the perfect size for two people. The area was reasonably quiet. The ocean was just steps away, right across the road. On-site parking was a plus. The area was not nearly as crowded as Oranjestaad, far more relaxing. "

The communication with the host was challenging and did cause me concern as trying to get a response to my questions or concerns was difficult. But all in all it turned out Just fine. "
