"We enjoyed our stay in a bus. The location is beautiful located just next to a fjeld, and it just looked stunning. We slept 4 in the bus, and used the shared toilets and showers. It is an easy short car ride from Reykjavik, and we also did a daytrip through the golden circle from here. The campsite has cats and chicken, and we enjoyed their “visits”. "Beautiful house! Clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were so nice with great communication…helped a lost cat that showed up find its owner…we LOVE cats..so this was so nice that they also love cats and helped reunite the lost cat with its family. Saw the northern lights all four nights. Great location…would definitely stay again!!"

"Brekka is located in an incredible setting with amazing views over the lake and mountains. It’s peaceful and calm. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for self catering holidays. Any questions that I had were quickly answered both before check in and during the stay. There is a supermarket 25 mins away by car which has everything you’d need. Reykjavik was an easy drive if you want a city visit. Highly recommended."

"Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was conveniently located and what a stunning setting and view! Our host (Karl) was very responsive and kind. The place was well stocked with spices and such for cooking, too. The only warning I’d give is that the metal bedside lamps get HOT! My teen son accidentally burned his arm on his as he reached past to plug something in. When I checked things, the whole lamp was super hot. "Muy limpia y muy bien situada. Tiene 2 habitaciones y una buhardilla en la parte superior: algo peligrosa para niños pequeños, pero divertida para niños a partir de los 8/9 años. Muy luminosa, buenas vistas y completamente equipada. El jakuzzi está fenomenal, no es de agua geotérmica (a mi me hubiera gustado mas, pero como digo es cuestión de gustos) y estaba muy limpio. El entorno invita a un paseo por el río truchero. Un poco justa para 6. Gracias a los anfritriones!!"
