Had a great quick one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was very clean and stocked with anything you could need. Stayed with dogs and it was a great space for them also!

Incredible place in an amazing location. Well equipped with just about everything one would need. The ferry to the island was regular and fast. Secluded place without contact with the outside world.

This cabin is ideal for those who want to get away. It’s quiet. Great view! Our dogs loved the river. The hosts thought of everything. There was nothing I needed that was not already there. The only potential negative was the mosquitoes, but a couple squirts of repellent protected us very well.Sugar Island is enigmatic, a combination of waterfront homes and cabins, small farms, most cattle raising, and more than a few subsistence farms. The people are great!!

Great place to stay

The cabin was excellent with pretty much everything we could need for cooking and relaxing. The beds were fantastic. The property was huge and had a great view. It was nice and quiet. Overall, great place.

Super cute little cabin! Loved being on the water and they had kayaks if we wanted to use and yard games! Very nice place it was fun being on an island (thats not mackinaw) and 1st experience to a car ferry

Secluded Island Paradise

Very clean, quiet and well maintained property in a tranquil, park-like setting. Owners are very attentive and always accessible. A real nice place that made for a very pleasant stay!

Perfect place to make memories!

This place is a beautiful getaway!! Stunning views and the most adorable cabin. Fred & Candace are very welcoming and put a lot of thought into this place. Charming place and you can’t beat the sunsets.
