All I can say is W O W.Tim our host was extremely prompt in getting back to us in every conversation we had. Gave us terrific directions on getting to the house, and followed up to see if we had made it safely. We also had the opportunity to meet him.The views were absolutely spectacular. We absolutely LOVED our visit to Casa Timlin. The house was literally amazing! The views were unbelievable. The pictures do not do it justice. Our Favorite thing to do was watch the sunsets from the pool everyday. Every meal that we ate at the house we ate outside. This place has all the amenities and the views are breathtaking from every room in the house. Tim was an awesome host who was there to answer any questions we had and made us feel right at home. We didn’t even know that Reyna was there it seemed like our beds were magically made each day and the house was clean when we would get home from our excursions that Ian helped us schedule. My family of 5 had the time of our lives. We loved Costa Rica so much we can’t wait to come back. When we do come back we will only stay at Casa Timlin.Pura Vida!

Tim has a fantastic house. It's modern, clean, and well stocked. He is easy to reach and communication was easy. The house is within walking distance to the beach, however, it is on a steep hill and may not be easy for all. I would recommend having a car for ease of getting around.

What an amazing place to stay on the Playa Del Coco coast!! We enjoyed Tim's home so much we never wanted to leave! Everything about the home is 5-star - from the comfortable beds, bathroom amenities, fully-stocked kitchen, infinity pool, deck furniture, etc., etc. We just wished we had stayed longer. Tim has thought of everything and is so kind. He has great people working for him to help with concierge services, housekeeping and meal preparation. He has such nice touches, including beautiful flowers to enjoy during your stay. We are looking for a reason to return to Costa Rica just to stay at Tim's place again!

BEYOND WORDS! Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the minute we checked in, we knew we had made the right choice of where to stay. The house had everything we needed (and then some), the pool and hot tub were incredible, Tim (the host) was attentive and helpful, and Reyna (the housekeeper) absolutely made our stay - she cooked us a couple of dinners (a must-do if you book your trip here). The location was easy to get to a lot of different areas/beaches, but coming back to the house was always something we looked forward to - just wait until you see the sunsets. We can't say enough about this home ... other than book it!! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing views, wonderful house, great location

We'd stay here again for sure. The house is great. New, modern, spacious. The pool and hot tub were very nice with breathtaking views from them and the entire front of the house. Short walk downhill to the beach, although parking at the beach was also very easy.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Timlin! The house was spotless, the view was amazing and the location was perfect. Communication with Tim was always quick and helpful. Reyna made us delicious meals and took great care of us during our visit. She was a extra bonus during stay! Incredibly special

I could not say enough positive words about this home! We had truly the best time at Casa Timlin - everything was wonderful - beds comfortable, great bathrooms, perfect pool and deck, the most stunning views and sunsets you can imagine. On top of that, the hosts Tim, housekeeper Reyna and her husband, and Ian the activities concierge were always responsive, caring and recommended amazing places to see during our stay while being thoughtful about our children’s ages and what would be a good fit.We can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful paradise

Wonderful experience at Casa Timlin! Tim was an excellent host and Ian very helpful with activities. Reyna was always very sweet and helpful. Communication was great all the way around, and the property certainly spoke for itself. Totally Spoiled!

First, the house was amazing!!! It sits up on a hill for amazing views/sunsets but is close enough to the beach and town to walk each day. Yes, there is a "slight hill" but it was great for walking off the food. Everything you can imagine is provided from soap, hair dryer, to pool toys and beach chairs. We watched the sunset in the evening and listened to howler monkeys in the morning. Reyna made sure everything was immaculate and each day we returned from our activities, the house was freshly cleaned (We felt guilty). Ian put up with our procrastination and set up our tours after we arrived and managed to book us on everything we wanted. Can't imagine staying anywhere else after this house. Thank you so much for everything!

Amazing house with spectacular views!

We stayed at Casa Timlin during spring break 2025. The house is gorgeous with tons of modern amenities and priceless views of the bay. Tim, Ian and Reyna went out of their way to make us feel at absolutely on vacation. Ian knows lots of people and was able to get us a beautiful boat for the next day! We would absolutely return to this lovely home.

Much better than described!

Stayed here 4 nights with our family. All I can say is WOW. First the owner, Tim, welcomed us to the house. He spent about 20 minutes talking about some of the details and what to expect. Super nice guy and I wish all property managers / owners were like him. I messaged him a few times during our stay and he responded within seconds. Second, the house. It is the only one I have stayed at where the online pictures do not do it justice. This place has EVERYTHING you will need, and then some. The kitchen has all the spices, oils and whatever else that you will need. The furniture is extremely high end and fits the house perfectly. We had zero issues while we were there. The house comes with all of the beach accessories you will need. Third and most important, the crown jewel of this house is Reyna. She is the housekeeper and will cook for you if you want. She was there every morning with a smile on her face. Her English is not great, but we had no problems communicating through google translate. We asked her to cook dinner for us one evening and it was by far, the best meal we had in CR. She is what made our trip one of the best we have taken. The location of the house is great. It is on a steep hill so I would highly recommend a car. It is a one minute drive to the beach and 4-5 minutes to the main street where most of the restaurants, grocery stores and shops are located.

Wonderful! Amazing home and location

Casa Timlin exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home and setting with gorgeous sunsets. Local restaurants were great but we enjoyed eating dinner at the home as much. Reyna is a wonderful cook and was so relaxing to enjoy the pool, views and veranda in the evening. Tim was great with the preparation and check-in process, making travel so easy and enjoyable. Our kids, aged 11-17, loved the house and area as well. We highly recommend!Lots to do in this area. We enjoyed Playa de Coco as well as Playa Hermosa, only a 10 minute drive. Both had great ocean waves and boogie boarding for hours! Diamonte adventure park was really fun as well as sailboat/snorkel/island bbq excursion through Don Bosco tours.We enjoyed surfing, rainforest, volcano, hanging bridges prior to staying at Casa Timlin, and would be worth looking into day trips and/or combining with another overnight, as all were really fun.

Fabulous Views

The Timlin house delivered on its promises! The house is beautifully situated in a great location. You can walk to great restaurants and Coco beach. The house has everything you need from towels to grill to amazing views! Just loved waking up to those views over a cup of coffee and winding down for the evening with a glass of wine! Our family had a fantastic vacation!

Amazing

We had four fantastic nights at Casa Timlin. The house is gorgeous, spotless, and quiet. Chilling in the endless pool and watching the sunsets and evening storms was incredible. It’s an easy stroll down to the beach and lots to explore. Coco Beach is a fun place to walk around with plenty of great restaurants. Tim is a great host and took excellent care of us during our stay. Highly recommend staying here! We hope to be back soon.
