Our family of 5 (3 teen/preteenagers) were thrilled to stay at here! The photos do not do justice - the building/pool/proximity on beach are EXCELLENT!
We loved having a full functioning kitchen, 3 full baths, laundry, cable/netflix, AND WIFI - those amenities made our 'down time' comfortable after long days of adventure tours. The pool is lovely with ample shade/sun and chairs for all. Just a few steps away is the ocean for boogie boarding and skimboarding - both apparatuses available at the condo ... along with pool toys, etc. Kids threw frisbee/football/baseball on the beach every day. This condo is set in a quiet beach town - not much of a night life, but an excellent location from the airport, to adventure tours, to other beach/surfing towns.
We walked to several restaurants and to the small grocery store in town. (NOTE: we did go to the larger grocery store in Playa Coco for an initial shopping, but found many things we needed in the small grocery store in Playa Hermosa). We did not rent a vehicle, so we were on foot for dinner and grocery goods. Here is a quick review on the restaurants we visited that are either on the beach or within walking distance in town:
AquaSport: Food NOT good, great sunsets, good live music (Sat night), nice bonfire, sand volleyball net - we rented stand up paddle boards here
Hotel El Velero: EXCELLENT Tuesday Taco night!! (note - ONLY tacos on Tuesday - no other menu items)
Roberto's: Good food - WAY overpriced - would not pay again to eat there!!!
Ginger: EXCELLENT food - not more than a 12 min walk asian/tapas - kids loved it!
Restaurant Villa Acacia: Ordered Pizza to take home - easy walk under 10 min - Good Pizza!
La Casita Del Marisco: we did not eat here, but heard from our tour guide that the food was excellent!
Pescado Loco Bar: we also did not eat here, but wish we would have
Thank you to Carol the owner and Zindis the management group - both were immediate with responses and so helpful! I would absolutely recommend staying at this condo!!
