Good location

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and in a very good neighborhood. However, there were a few issues that could be improved upon. There is no comfortable seating in this house. And the living room had vertical blinds with at least 7 slats missing, so no privacy while watching TV in the evening after dark.

Not worth the price

Pros- This was a great location. Close to the beach and shops. The heated pool was the best part. I hate to leave a bad review, however, I will not choose to stay here again. Cons- unfortunately, this place is a poorly renovated, not well maintained property. There were several plastic cups in the pool/trash in the yard, screws lying around the back….upon arriving, we were greeted with several strong air fresheners in each room which were really quite bothersome to our children and family. The light switches were broken throughout the home, it was very challenging to know which light switches were the correct ones to use. There was a different type of light bulb for each light. There was a similar review that mentioned the electricity not being up to code…there’s something there. There are no fans in the bathrooms, which is highly concerning for mold. We barely opened the blinds and they were falling off of the windows, the place was not family friendly. There are dangerous steps throughout the house making the floor uneven. Additionally, the water filter on the fridge said past due needing replacement. We were traveling with children and there was nothing there to accommodate them. There was no tub stopper so that way our baby could take a bath. Additionally, the living room furniture is not comfortable and if you are planning a long stay this is not the space for you to relax.

Great property near beaches

Perfect house for a quick little getaway, had all of the conveniences of home, close to beaches, supermarket directly across the street. I also personally loved the layout of the home. It is also in walking distance of a nature preserve, which is perfect for my family who like to go on nature walks .

Great location near beaches and plenty of restaurants. Just need better AC (it was kinda hot), blackout curtains and some shade in the pool. Overall good place

Nice stay

This property matched up to the description and the photos. Hasan was great to work with and very flexible. Only comment from our crew is that the house was pretty barebones. Not much for extras in the way of some of the basics like garbage bags, dishwasher tablets etc. We would definitely stay here again. Convenient location, great communication and 5 star cleanliness.

Convenient

Had a wonderful time with my family, we all loved the pool and the convience of the location. Anything you could want or need, rather groceries, restaurants or things to do its right around the corner, yet super quite and laid back environment around the home.

Spacious and bright

A comfortable home with so much light. Lots of room for everyone to find quiet spots. Laundry room was wonderful to have. The neighbourhood is great - quiet but just a couple of blocks from grocery, gas, everything we needed. Hasan was very responsive when we had questions.

Close to Siesta Key Beaches

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a cute house. The beds were super comfortable. The host was very attentive, if needed. I informed him of a few ideas that may enhance the stay for future guests. We enjoyed the pool, as well. The back of the house and patio looks to have had some hurricane damage. We brought our own Keurig for morning coffee and prepared our breakfast daily. We also brought all of our gear for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, towels, beach toys, and cooler) which is advised if you plan on venturing there. There are so many great restaurants close by along with shopping. Overall, we had a great time!

clean, great location but this property has some issues

I want to start off saying I have never left a bad review on any property, if they were not what I expected or slightly not up to par, I simply do not post a review. I do not want to cause a property owner problems making an income. But... this property was not worth the price I paid for it. It was not by any means horrible but, it also did not live up to my expectiations for the price I paid in the area it was located. THIS IS THE MESSAGE I SENT TO THE OWNER : Thank you so much for providing a clean and attractive house for us to stay in for the last 12 days! There are, however, some key components that have been overlooked, insufficient, unsafe or completely missing altogether. These are things that should be expected in a rental at this price point, in this location. Here is a quick list of issues we experienced: *Sleeping arrangements (and reservations) for 6 people yet there are only 5 bath towels & 4 beach towels. *Seating in Living Room for maybe 3 people comfortably (we had to bring outdoor chairs inside and a chair from a bedroom) to sit together in the evening. *Kitchen is not appropriately appointed with some of the basic essentials; no sheet-pans for use in the oven, no spatula, no toaster, only 3 butter knives. *Multiple light switches, through out the house, are non functioning which raises concerns for the integrity and safety of the electrical system. **Most concerning… outdoor pool area in back yard is in disrepair and borderline unsafe; partial wall is half unpainted and has splintering wood, old aluminum pieces are hanging off of the roof area, screws and nails laying around pool area where we are walking with bare feet. I understand there was a hurricane, but it was 3 months ago, a quick clean up of the outdoor area to address the pieces of metal hanging off the house and a simple walk around the yard could remedy a good number of the outdoor safety issues. A bit of attention to a few simple details in the house would have made our stay much more enjoyable. I had to go purchase multiple items for my family to manage the basics for a week's stay. None of the above items were addressed in the VRBO listing.
