"The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that."

"This was our first stay at this property, but not our first stay in the area. We were a little hesitant to book because our last stay at the other location was less than ideal. So glad we went ahead and booked. The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and well equipped. There were 6 of us, my family of 4, plus my parents. "A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"Our stay over Memorial Day weekend was excellent. The house suited our family more than adequately and the boys loved they all could move around easily, and of course the hot tub for after our mountain hikes. Location is great, close to everything, as well as hiking trails and has sidewalks. Everything was great, thank you!"

"The place is beautiful and cozy. Unfortunately we had rainy weather but definitely will stay here again. Had use of the hot tub. Wasnt able to gwt out on the lake...definitely next tome! Jon and Sergio and kids are wonderful hosts!"

"Great place for a family. Convenient to Ausable Chasm, some nice restaurants and a great state day use facility. Great fenced yard and there were s’more sticks which was convenient. Everything felt very clean and the check in was very easy. It was very quiet inside and the WiFi worked very well for streaming Netflix."
