Nice house but a bit inconvenient

House was clean and in a really nice neighborhood. The house was a little further away from the beach than we would’ve liked. The bikes provided need some help and repairs. There is a golf cart in the garage that takes up the whole garage that you are NOT allowed to use. The house is further than a 3 minute walk to the pool. We had small children and probably would’ve looked elsewhere if we would’ve known. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the house was very nice and clean. Just some flaws that could be addressed better in the posting is the only complaints I would have other than the bikes and golf cart situation.

Amazing Location!

We had the best time in BMB. Great shops and restaurants within walking and biking distance. Easy beach access, and when we needed a more mellow environment the pool was great. The house is decorated beautifully and was so spacious with enough privacy for everyone in our group. Loved everything!

Great location. Beautiful home!

We loved our stay! The house had everything we needed and the beds were SO comfy! We loved walking in evenings to get ice cream and also to the beach for sunset. Jennifer was so helpful and easy to communicate with! 10 out of 10 😊

Amazing home in a wonderful neighborhood!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was equipped with everything that we could possibly need! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, multiple bikes and tons of beach gear! Great location in the neighborhood and a quick walk or bike ride to the beach as well as restaurants and ice cream/coffee shop!

Crowe Family Vacation 2023

This was our first time having all of our kids and grandchildren on vacation at he same time. The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone! The town is a perfect family oriented place The pool is a very short walk! However, I do suggest renting a golf cart for the week if you’re going to be going to the beach, it is definitely worth it!! We drove it to eat, shop, and hang at the beach. The Williams are great hosts! They made sure they were very accessible to speak to, and answered any questions we had during our stay! Barefoot Blessings was definitely a blessing to our family!! I highly recommend this rental!!

Efficiency was key!

This beach house was the best house with being equipped for your perfect beach vacation. The garage had plenty bikes, wagon, 2 coolers, and plenty of beach chairs. Reading this and having a family of 5+ made packing for this trip so much easier. The kitchen was well equipped. We also rented a golf cart & is was within 2 blocks from the beach! Our kids said this was the best one yet and we can’t wait to come back and stay! Thank you for having us in your home!

Perfection!

Let me start by saying, we are a large family of 7. Our five children range from ages 10-17. We take a yearly trip to the Emerald Coast and since we had to travel during Memorial Day weekend this year, I wanted to try somewhere a little bit further from the hustle and bustle of Destin. This home was PERFECT for our family! Everything that you could need in the kitchen, towels for everyone, washer and dryer, and bathrooms were amazing! We also decided to grill on Memorial day and there is a gas grill that worked perfect for us! A huge selling point for us is that it was away from the hustle and bustle with a focus on families! There are 7 bikes, which was perfect for us to take family bike rides! In previous years we were not comfortable with our kids riding bikes without us right there with them. We felt more than comfortable having our children ride bikes throughout the neighborhood! The pool was a quick walk/bike ride away and the beach less than a half a mile away! The beach is gorgeous and I counted over 15 beach chairs in the garage, along with plenty of beach toys and inflatables! There is also a compressor in the garage for bike tires and inflatables! There are also coolers and a wagon as well! We also found a spot in Grayton Beach called A.J.'s that had bottomless Mimosa's and THE BEST pancakes that I have ever had for Sunday Brunch! And lastly, William and Jennifer are AMAZING hosts! I loved our stay and we plan on coming back to stay again next year!

Perfect Beach Vacatio

This house had EVERYTHING we needed. It was beautiful and clean. The bunk room for kids was fantastic. It was walking distance to the beach which was one of our favorite parts. We loved being able to walk to the ice cream shop and taco restaurant. It was the perfect location. We can't wait to come back.

A week in paradise!

House was great! Clean, comfortable, all the items you need to enjoy your beach stay. Stayed with two families for a total of 8 and it was plenty of space and a wonderful set up.

Beautifully Florida

Perfect week with family at the beautiful Barefoot Blessings home. All the details of the home were well thought out and provided from the generous amount of comfortable living room seating to the extra throw blankets, beach toys and chairs. Would highly recommend this home in Santa Rosa Florida which is away from the busyness of some of the neighboring towns but close enough to hop on a bike and explore.

BOOK IT, BOOK IT, BOOK IT!

This house was BEYOND my expectations! It was spacious for 6 adults, 3 teens, 1 pre-teen, and an 8 month old that just learned to crawl! The kitchen had everything we needed and the 8min walk to the beach was a piece of cake (thanks to the ice cream shop along the way). The bathrooms were so big and spacious and the beds were SO comfortable! The cleanliness was that of a 5 star hotel but better because it really felt like home! The umbrellas and chairs provided were definitely a plus! The location was ideal because there was always parking at the public beach parking lot AND we were only a 12min drive from Seaside! Our family cannot wait to book this house again!

The house was great the weather was the worst we have ever had in this area. Beaches were closed and they were handing out $500 fines if you touched the water, (literally). We got two half days of beach time as they opened the water for touching at 2:30 one day and noon the other. Local surfers were allowed in as much as they wanted. Not sure why the locals had access but the vacationers did not. Beach Service signage is confusing regarding what areas are open to vacationers who do not rent chairs/umbrellas from them. They restrict where you can set up and confuse things by moving poorly worded signs to suit what areas they want. County/City Council has some control issues. No issues with the house or location. Owners were great. Loved the house.

Barefoot Blessings at Blue Mountain Beach

Perfect home for our beach getaway. Enjoyed having the bikes, coolers, beach chairs and extra frig for drinks. Blue Mountain Beach is beautiful. The Red Fish Taco restaurant was a short walk away with live music. Recommend catching the shuttle if your are going to Seaside.

Perfect beach vacation home

Oh my gosh, Barefoot Blessings is the perfect home away from home for your family. The home is welcoming and comfortable and meets every need. No need to worry about bringing your beach chairs, or bicycles, or a cooler! And the owners are best best hosts. We loved everything about Barefoot Blessings.

Beautiful house!

This house is absolutely beautiful. Our group of 9 were very comfortable. The owner texted us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. I gave 4 stars for accuracy online only because the walk to the beach seemed longer than 3 minutes. We drove our van down to the beach access & dropped everything instead of walking. There are many restaurants & shopping nearby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house & would stay again!

Adorable Vacation Home

Barefoot Blessings was a beautiful place to stay! Great location and perfect accommodations for our multiple family vacation! It was so nice being in the Lakeside community. Owners were great to work with and very helpful when ever we had a question about the area. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Loved having the use of the bicycles, beach chairs, wagon, ice chests and more for the beach already at the house! Would totally stay here again!
