Great location, great villa

House was very clean. Great location. One reason i booked here was to utilize the golf cart to get to the public beach access in blue mountain. The golf cart was extremely unreliable and failed us multiple times and made travel extremely inconvenient. Battery was charged at 100% on all measuremnts and couldn’t return us to the house one day due to malfunction. With that said the amenities at this property were great. Pool is seasonally heated and hot tub and fire pit were very nice. Would stay in this area again however would need a better mode of transportation to the beach and not rely on the provided cart.

Had to move homes after night one

Unfortunately we had to move to another home after night one at this property. We had planned to stay the week of Thanksgiving but at checkin we discovered that the heat was not working (it was 62 inside the house). The property management company did move quickly to get a technician out but they were unable to fix it. The property management company found us another home in the same neighborhood and moved us in the next day. Greatly appreciated their help in saving our vacation. The house in general lacked character and was very dark on the main level. The smoker outside does not work. The golf cart and bikes looked fine.

Beautiful home and neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay. Check-In process was great until our arrival. Keypad access number did not work. After a 2 hour wait we heard back from listing agent with a different code. Beach access is further than expected and beach was very crowded. Suggestions of other beach access areas would have been helpful.

Family Visit

Our stay at Santa Rosa Beach was extremely enjoyable! We we coming to visit family. There were a few things that I was not happy with, but overall great! - The key for the golf cart was not left in the welcome package, so we called to get a new key. Vary fast response but took them a whole day to get the key to us.We were slightly annoyed it took so long. - The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans, but not hot pad in the entire kitchen. Same with towels, and dishcloths, only one of each. - The furniture in the living room needed to be vacuumed under, it had been a while. The house was beautiful, just a few finishing touches missed.

Amazing get away!

We booked this very last minute and it was an amazing vacation! Super close to the beach. The kids had a blast from the pool to the beach! Will book again for sure. 11 out of 10!

Very spacious and comfortable!

We enjoyed staying here, there was plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. The house and property were clean and everything was in working order. HVAC works great. We loved having the golf cart, used it everyday. Bikes looked nice but we didn’t use them. The pool was wonderful, plenty of chairs even when it got busy in the afternoon. Blue Mountain Beach is close, get there early for parking-golf cart or car. We ended up at Grayton Beach on most days as we had family staying there. Was a lovely beach. Would stay there again.

The Good, the bad and the ugly!

The good- the house itself is stunning! We loved it, the layout & all that it was equipped with. We loved using the golf carts, kids loved the bikes & we loved exploring the area. The bad- definitely the false advertisement of easy beach access. We learned A LOT from the locals that the property management fails to divulge to customers- which is very misleading. While yes, it is a short distance to the public beach access, most all beaches are private and not accessible. The tiny sliver of public beach access is filled like a can of sardines by 8am- meaning there is no beach to enjoy. We spoke to a local who said that property owners were expected to tell renters this, yet, looking at the title of this listing it boasts something totally different. Very misleading. Upon mentioning this to the management company they just sent us a list of public access, which we already had and all were the same. Very disappointing- definitely do your research before renting! The ugly- when we got to the house it was clear that absolutely no care was put into attempting to clean the outside. None of the furniture outside, including deck furniture, outdoor floors, golf cart or bikes were usable because of the thickness of dirt and pollen. We spent the first 2 hours of our trip cleaning everything outside including the porches, all outdoor furniture, rugs, golf cart & bikes. It was definitely a frustrating start with little to no apologies or help from the management company.

Great place to stay on 30A

Quiet location with easy acres to shopping, beach, restaurants, etc. the house was large and accommodated my family with ease. The neighborhood was nice and the pool area was great with heated pool and gas fire pit. I would stay here again. We had an issue with the fridge not working when we checked in, but the management was quick to remedy it by providing a small fridge to store our groceries until the next day. I unplugged the fridge and that reset the electronics, so it worked just fine after that.

Beautiful but empty

The house was as pictured and the golf cart and bikes were convenient. The property pool was nice but it was a very empty shell. I don’t expect stocked pantry but the microwave didn’t work and there weren’t even a deck of cards to play. Perfect if you just need a clean bed and bath. Our children were supposed to be with us and we would have found it boring for them.

Perfect spot for family getaway

This community is in a great location with easy access to restaurants, the beach, and ice cream shops! The 6 seater golf cart was a great addition and make our trip much more enjoyable with children. We will be back!

We had a great stay!

Everything was wonderful. We quickly realized the dishwasher wasn’t working or the ice maker in the refrigerator. It wasn’t to important to me to wanna mess with so we went on with our week. Randomly two maintenance people showed up stating they were there to fix the issues. They were surprised no one had mentioned they were coming. An hour or so later I received a message from the property manager saying maintenance would be there to fix the outdoor shower and would not be needing in the house…which they were already in the house. None of that was to big of a deal and the home is gorgeous! We would love to come back! I would bring your own dish detergent and extra dish tabs! (They only give you 2)

PERFECT

This house is beautiful. It had everything we needed for our week stay. The beds were very comfortable. Couch very cozy and comfy to enjoy watching a movie. Just a beautiful house to enjoy. The golfcart was the best of all. We did not have a car but were able to get around to everywhere we needed to go IN THE GOLFCART including the beaches. So much fun in golfcart. The bikes were just as nice due to all the bike trails all around us. Fun!! Even though we preferred the beach ....the pool was just as beautiful which is in walking distance or a quick bike ride. Everything was PERFECT!

A Perfect Spot

This property is perfect for small families (such as my own). The check in process was easy and simple. We really had no issues in which to contact a property manager. The only (admittedly small) issue was finding no salt or pepper on site. No big deal, though, as the stores are not far away. Far and away, the biggest hit with my family was the golf cart. We were able to use it all week. My kids loved it. The new coffee shop just one street away was also very convenient. Beds were comfortable. Washing machine and dryer worked well. The kitchen was very spacious and easy to use. All in all, a perfect stay. We'll definitely stay again.

Didn’t want to leave

Beautiful home, new house smell, and extremely clean! Check in and out was very easy! Starter supply of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps provided. Golf cart and bikes were amazing and we used constantly to get around town to beach and to eat! Didn’t try out community pool but looked amazing. One of few places we saw in that area with screened porch. Lovely! Will return!

Highland Parks Beach House

We’ve stayed in the area multiple times but finding this location was great and to have bikes and a gulf cart included was definitely a plus. Beautiful home and plenty of space.

Beautiful getaway!

This house is stunning! Very clean, in a gorgeous neighborhood, close to the beach, and we loved the access to the pool and golf cart. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!
