Upon arrival, we were only given the pad lock code for the door (having to call and ask for it and any instructions, etc). Once we pulled up to the neighborhood there was a gate that needed a code- weren’t given. Had to call, again. The home was clean and would have been more enjoyable but during our stay none of the codes we were given worked. We were constantly on the phone/on hold waiting for information. We had rented a golf cart for our stay (didn’t know that was prohibited in their HOA rules because we never received any information), by the third day they tried to tell us we’d have to pay a fine if we didn’t get it removed, we had one person show up one day (while our kids were napping) saying they were there to clean the carpets, they removed our washer the second day (saying they’d have a new one delivered that day.... never came) they tried to deliver it the following day, (again while kids were sleeping, never a scheduled time, said they would schedule a time and come during those hours... never did... so we didn’t have a washer our whole stay. Had to re-use musty, sand covered towels) the tv downstairs had a broken leg on the stand (it almost fell on my one year old) the only reason they came to look at it is because they were there ANOTHER time (again while kids were napping) to check on the master bathroom closet that doesn’t shut all the way. A maintenance worker came two days later than he said he’d be there to fix the tv stand, was in the house for over an hour trying to fix it (said he was given the wrong screws) so he took the tv and said he’d be back in ten minutes with a new tv (hour and a half later returned with a 15” tv screen), it also rained most of our trip so the family room television would have been nice to have. The management was so poor and when paying money for services, it should meet/exceed expectations and if not, taken care of with professionalism and urgency; neither of which we received. Very disappointed! Our family loves Grayton beach/seaside but will never stay at another Ocean Reef property again. I recommend renting a house with another company.
