This home was perfect for our large family! We had a great trip thanks in part to all the thoughtful care put into making sure the home had all the amenities needed. All the extras for the beach were a huge plus. The location of the home made getting around super easy and had very close access to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

An effortless Family Getaway.

I have been going to 30a for over 20 years and this is the best stocked house I’ve ever stayed at! Silverware a plenty, a ton of cooking utensils, beach towels, beach chairs and an ICE maker. You do not need to bring any beach supplies they are all here at Sandy cheeks, umbrellas, chairs, cooler, bikes, helmets, beach games, etc etc etc. the appliances are all top notch and the house remained cool. It was large enough for 5 adults, we were missing my daughter and her family, so everyone had there own bathroom and bedroom. There is an outside shower at the house and it is a minute walk from the public beach access. This owner goes out of her way to make your stay a five star stay. The glasses in the freezer with koozies on them made my week! Nice touch and that is exactly how this house is, thoughtful and extensively small and large things that make your time at the beach, effortless. I have never stayed at one house more than once but that will be changing as of this year. Book Sandy Cheeks for your next vacation, you won’t be disappointed

Amazing House - Amazing Location

From the beginning, communication with the property manager was positive and helpful. The property itself is gorgeous and is lacking nothing. All beach chairs, towels, toys, and umbrellas are provided, to name a few. For the 10 of us, we may have packed the least we have ever packed for a beach trip. It was great! The house is spacious and VERY clean, in a quiet neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach. Rent a golf cart through the recommended company and you will never have to drive your car on 30A getting to great restaurants, shops, and ice cream! We could go on and on, however, you should just see it for yourself. A great time was had by all!

Great week!

The house was stocked with everything that you could need. The location was amazing, walk to the beach daily and easy access to great restaurants like Stinky’s or Shunk Gulley’s. The owners were extremely responsive and provided multiple suggestions for food/things to do! We had a great week with family and the house provided an amazing location for multiple generations.

Our family of 8 adults, and 3 children under 4 years old stayed at Sandy Cheeks for a week in June for a family wedding. It has everything a family could need; from baby gates, bumbo type seat for meals, children's books, and toys. And so many nice beach towels, beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs were available for our use! A/C worked very well during our hot week, too. There was a good supply of kitchen starter items, like olive oil and spices. (Don't buy cinnamon!)Mary Kaye was prompt in her communication and answered all of our questions. She also took care of replacing a broken clothes iron that arrived within an hour of us reaching out, wow. You can definitely walk to the pool and public beach, and many from this community did. We rented a cart from Steve at Geauxtime Carts and that went very smoothly and allowed us to easily haul all the beach items back and forth.We also used it to get to some shops and restaurants a little far for walking.

Phenomenal Sandy Cheeks

Sandy Cheeks at Dune Allen is the best location, and best setup of any vacation home I have ever used. There was anything and everything you could possible need for your stay from beach time, pool time, food time, sleep time…..EVERY TIME! The bedrooms were perfect, beautiful bathrooms, balconies for each bedroom and the rooftop view was perfect! All for a most reasonable price. There is no possible way anyone who stays at Sandy Cheeks would not feel the same!

Sandy Cheeks 4th of July

Our family had a great stay at the Sandy Cheeks house thanks to Scott and Mary Kaye! We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay inside the house and everything we needed for the beach and pool. We loved the proximity to Stinky’s and the pool, and it was a short walk to the beach. We would love to stay again in the future, thanks for everything!

Great property!

This was a lovely stay, our 9 adults, teenager, and baby were comfortable! The second floor master is perfect for a pack and play bc there’s so much room. It’s less than 10 minute walk to the beach but it fills up really fast bc it’s sandwiched between 2 private beaches. So get out there or secure a spot by 9AM. No need to bring beach towels, they have plenty of good ones. Well stocked, and they let us check in early! Would recommend!

We will be back!!

We loved everything about this beautiful beach house. The house was very clean and we appreciated the provided beach towels and beach chairs. We liked riding bikes in the neighborhood and the short walk to the beach. The owners were very kind and accommodating and truly wanted us to.have a wonderful vacay. We can't wait to stay again.

Family Spring Break getaway

Wonderful stay at Sandy Cheeks! House is very clean and looks identical to pictures. Supplied well for large families - a bonus was all of the nice beach equipment and beach towels! Great location within walking distance of beach. Close to amenities and restaurants. Easy to purchase a golf cart from company that was recommended. Communication was awesome with owners! Gave a great list of suggestions in the area and were very helpful answering questions! Overall great stay! One thing to be aware of is renters can only use the public beach access - it can get full pretty quick so be sure to plan ahead or use the other public beach access a few short blocks to the left for a good beach experience.

Amazing experience

Sandy cheeks was wonderful! The home was clean, very well stocked with everything you need and more. The area of 30A is not as busy as some of the more ‘trendy’ areas. A golf cart is extra cost but very worth it. There is only 1 restaurant and no shops within walking distance. We didn’t mind as the hot shopping areas were very busy when we visited. Darling neighborhood, public beach access and a pool. Highly recommend!

Great vacation!

We stayed the week of august 18th-26th. We actually came to town a day early and planned to get a hotel for one night. Owner let us know the house was available early and was very accommodating and helpful in letting us get in a day early to the house instead of getting a hotel. House was very clean. The owners have thought of everything. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, beach towels, toys for the kids. The kids had a great time together in the bunk room. The ac worked great which was so nice with it so hot outside! The walk was not far to the beach access. Enjoyed riding the bicycles provided a few times! There are two drink refrigerators which was so nice to have to keep plenty of drinks cold. We just had a great week with friends and the property was perfect for what we had. Owner was always available for any needs we had and checked on us to make sure we had everything we need. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Amazing beach vacay!

We had an amazing vacation with our family celebrating our moms 70th birthday! The house is beautiful and very well stocked! The golf cart is a must for beach travels! We would definitely recommend this property! The owners made check in process seamless and were easily reachable for anything!

Awesome Stay at Sandy Cheeks

We stayed here Jul 19-23 and our stay was amazing. The House sits on a Corner with 4 parking spaces. The AC worked very well on all 3 levels. We didn't have to change the preset temperature. The Mattress on ALL of the beds were more than comfortable, even the set of Bunk Beds. With 5 bedrooms everyone had their own breakout/chill space & own bathroom. The Living Room , Kitchen and Huge Island with extra seating flowed together. The home had updated appliances, washer/dryer to use. Gas Grill came in clutch for hot dogs and burgers. The Community has a Pool which is on the next corner. The Beach access is less than .2 blocks away, an easy walk. Great Communication from the Host.

Beautiful Beach Home

Beauriful home in a great location approx. 5 minute easy walk to the beach. This house has it all from plenty of room, games, beach chairs, bikes and a truly stocked kitchen plenty of silverware, cookware and kitchen gadgets. The owner really thought of everything. Perfect

This home hit all the check marks for our group. The location is perfect with the community pool, beach and a restaurant within walking distance. We added the golf cart which was a must have if you want to explore the nearby neighborhoods, other restaurants and it made it easier to transport our beach items. Communication with owners was quick and efficient. Home decor was beautiful and we had a stocked kitchen, beach towels and plenty of beach items to use throughout. This home was a definite win for our group!

Excellent Beach Home

We had the best best at the Sandy Cheeks beach house! Everything was perfect and exactly what we hoped for! I have stayed in many different beach houses, and this one was one of the best! The owners had lots of games and toys for the kids to play! They had a video game system, bean bag chairs, and huge bunk beds for the kids to use. All of our children, aged 2-8, enjoyed the kids room! They also had tons of books for kids and adults. The amount of beach stuff they had was incredible! They had several beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and sand toys! It was nice not having to bring all of that stuff with us! They had tons of cookware and kitchen essentials. They provided laundry soap and dish soap. The house was set up perfectly. We enjoyed that every bedroom had its own bathroom connected and balcony. The house was beautiful inside! The pool was a very short walk and was very nice. The walk to the beach only took about 5 minutes. If we had any concerns, we called or messaged the owner, and she quickly responded. Overall, we had an excellent stay. I would highly recommend this house for anyone with a family or multiple families!

Nice location for beach

House was brand new, so it was very nice and very clean. The location was great for beach access, as you could easily walk to the local beach access, which has public restrooms. The home was nice and the owner was very good to deal with. The owner did a great job of having nicer accessories and equipment for use, such as beach chairs, coolers, beach games, etc. Really appreciated that. The negatives were: (1) as a brand new listing, there were some hiccups with the original booking, and the description made it seem as though a golf cart was included (it was not), but these are things I would expect a new owner to get worked out easily; and (2) the walls to the house seemed very thin, and the neighborhood has the houses VERY close together, so you can hear just about everything going on outside and around the house. Overall, a nice stay.
