Wedding Stay

We came to attend a wedding at Grayton Beach and were the preferred location for almost all the wedding party as the unit is so closely located to everything! Awesome stay…awesome location.

Grayton Beach house

Our home was in an ideal location in Grayton Beach, one block from the shore right next to to popular restaurant and bars, and walkable to everything. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Grayton House

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The house is super clean, tons of towels, beds were comfy, outdoor shower was awesome and the pool was great!! The location of the house is really the best. Walk next door for food or two doors down to another restaurant. The beach is clean and extremely walkable. The property management is super responsive. Highly recommend

My favorite property in Grayton

I’ve been coming to this area of Florida with my family every year since I was born. This is by far my favorite house I’ve ever stayed in! Not only is it the perfect walking distance to the beach and everything in Grayton, the pool in the back is a *chefs kiss*. I booked this property for February so it was a little chilly out and had the pool heated for the duration of my stay. If I had any questions at all, the property manager was quick to reply. The house was clean and so beautiful - it looked exactly like the pictures. The only thing is the lights around the pool can be a little bright at night so make sure you pull down the shades in the room. I will absolutely be booking this place again!

Grayt Fun was GREAT FUN!

The property is excellent in every way. The listing describes the property accurately. We visited in October, our favorite time to visit the beach. Our first stay in Grayton. Love the vibe. Property is next door to Chirongo Bar, best food experience in Grayton by far, in our opinion. The swimming pool was a really nice addition for us…we paid for the heated pool amenity and glad we did. Property management was very responsive to us when we had a minor issue. Great communication. Will be back to Grayton for sure!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house and didn’t want to leave! The location is perfect. Very close to the beach, western lake, and next door to Chiringos. There is a door alarm on the back door that only an adult can reach and it goes off if a child opens the door, we really appreciated that feature. The tram stops very close to the house. My kids had fun riding it to the shops and back. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay, wish we had better communication

This stay was overall great. We were disappointed however at the poor communication regarding the pool heat. This property advertises a heated pool, but it was not communicated to us until well after arriving that the pool could not be heated unless we stayed for a full week. This is after a private message with the property before our arrival saying that the pool could be heated we only needed to message. Since that was a big reason we selected this property it’s very disappointing. Another note is that the windows/curtains in the living room are transparent at night. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Otherwise this location is great and the property was as described.

Great girls weekend getaway!

This was the perfect place to host a getaway with friends! We wanted a beach location to celebrate a bachelorette party and this was the best house! Plenty of room for everyone and you can't beat the location and pool amenities. Everyone had a great time and commented on how perfect the house was. The smallest things to note that could improve: one bathroom didn't have a lock on the door and the other bathroom lock didn't work. The shower looks to have been recently updated and anytime anyone took a shower, the water seeped out between the glass door and onto the floor causing a mess. Also, the communication with the host/rental property agents was poor. I texted the "text line" that was in the check-in instructions with no reply. I then received a different number to text the next day and the communication was very delayed. Overall, an amazing trip and would 10/10 stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time staying here and visiting Grayton. We will be back! The house is great for small groups and had everything we needed. Loved Chiringos next door and had no problem with noise from the patrons, even with a live band on Friday night. The truck emptying the dumpster at 4:00 AM Saturday was the only time we were disturbed. Liked that we were provided cones and rope to block our parking spaces when we left the house as I am sure we would have come back to no place to park. The owners provided plenty of beach gear and bicycles. Lots of seating by the pool with a huge umbrella for shade. Lights along the fence come on at night and provide a nice atmosphere. A very short walk to the beach and a tram stops just steps away to take you to a small shopping area with restaurants and stores. Highly recommend this rental.

Girl’s Annual Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are six retired educators and enjoy taking an annual trip each spring. We love the Grayton Beach area and especially love to stay in this home. It is very clean and the floor plan works for our group. It has its private pool which is very nice & relaxing. This is the second time we have stayed here. It is in walking distance to the shops & restaurants. Everyone at Benchmark is very nice and accommodating. We have only one complaint and that is with the internet and TV. We had to call Benchmark to come out to help us sign on to the internet and to get the TV to work. Evidently the home owner changed providers it is very slow. We didn’t have any problems like this last year. But, we still love this place and would recommend it to others but I hope the owners rethink their internet provider.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was a great location in Grayton beach. The inside was clean but the outside area had some trash when we arrived. The property can hold 10 people, but it is more suitable for maybe two couples with small children as there wasn’t much living space for everyone to be in at once. There also was very little space to put your clothes. There were storage items in the closets so we didn’t have places to hang clothing and not much dresser space either. The parking was also an issue. There are signs but you have no recourse if someone parks in the property spots. It would be nice to have a way to handle when that happens because we were left without a spot after dinner a night because someone ignored the residential sign and we could not locate the vehicle owners. We ended up driving around and ultimately having to go elsewhere for hours until the vehicle left bc there was no where to park. It would be nice to have a number for a tow company since the signs say tow away zone in the event you don’t have a spot.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house would have been an amazing experience if it wasn’t for the poor management of the home. The home is in a great location and the house itself was perfect for our family. A few days after we checked in we started to have a flea problem at the house. It was outside by the pool and our kids would be covered in fleas anytime they walked out by the pool. It was so bad we could not enjoy the pool at all which (aside from the location) was a reason we booked the house. The second we tried to contact the management company about it we were met with nothing but absolute trouble. It was exhausting trying to get anyone to come out or even help address the situation. Our family owns a home in Grayton beach and they were absolutely blown away with the lack of attention to the situation. They as owners would have NEVER let something like this happen to renters at their home. I would be very weary renting this home! I would like to note it wasn’t lack of effort in trying on our part as we called everyday sometimes even multiple times a day from Tuesday through the time we left Saturday to no avail. We were greeted by the management staff with our complaints with rudeness. WeAlso had friends staying in the home the week after we left and they were dealing with the same frustrating situation. Please beware and consider another property in Grayton. It’s such a special place to us and we think you would have the best experience elsewhere and not at this house.

We would rent it again

We were impressed how the master bedroom is private/ separate from the others, but that room was a little difficult to cool. We were impressed at all the items available in the storage unit by the pool. The pool water is a bit too warm however. When we arrived, everything was clean except the spoon rest. The kitchen could benefit from more supplies such as more mixing bowls, Tupperware and a spatula. The small shower was difficult to use because the shower curtain kept blowing on your legs. It was helpful that there were lots of towels and even dark washcloths for removing make up. Providing hand soap in the kitchen would be a good idea. We would rent it again!

Great location, dated house

House was very clean. Fenced in yard for pets was perfect. Enjoyed the heated pool. Strange layout. In Order to exit the house a person has to walk through other peoples sleeping areas.Decor is very dated. Perfect location however.

very dissatisfied

the only reason a gave a 1 star is the bedrooms very good when we got there we had to pick up water bottles and plastic cups there was candy wrappers stuffed in the candle holders and wax left all over from the burnt out candles obviously they did not clean outside so i wiped down the table and the dirt nasty we arrived on a Sunday and the pool was dirty so we could not use it until Tuesday pool cleaning day. The dish washer was broke so a repair person showed up but had to order a new dish washer so we where there the whole time no dishwasher. The pictures shown in the rental are nothing like what was there. Sleeps 10 but only has seating for 4 two at the counter and two at a table bar stools that were a heavy plastic and with two small kids there was really no place for them to eat . The Carpet in the bedroom was so dirty i had to fold it up and put it away the windows were dirty and most of them leaked therefore the place really was not looked after. House did not appear cleaned there were cob webs at the floor and refrigerator if you are going to charge extra for covid you need to clean the outside also . We had to stay a additional day because of weather which they did not charge me appreciate that . This place needs alot a TLC
