Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As soon as I stepped foot on the large cozy front porch I knew I wouldn't want to leave! Perfect spot for families with teens who want to roam. Food trucks and beach are steps away. Quiet, shaded street for the adults. Absolutely adorable.

It was great for our teenagers who wanted freedom to be on their own more. The beach access is so convenient and not as crowded as Watercolor which made our beach days so enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed reading on the front porch and talking to people as they walked by. Fleur de Lis is located on one of the prettiest streets in America and is just steps away from the ocean, restaurants and shopping. We'll be back soon.

Location of Fleur De Lis was great, however the house/kitchen/furniture was a bit worn for our taste compared to other rentals we have stayed in. TV was very small for watching as a family in evenings. Homeowners collection was great!

Also many rotting boards and upstairs screened in porch awful. Porch fans do not work. Front door locking system needed repair to enter home. All TV’s need to be replaced. 3rd vacation in Seaside & 2nd (and last) at this rental home.

A Special Cottage in a Special Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at the Fleur de Lis cottage in Seaside for our 40th anniversary in April 2025. The architecture/design of the home is delightful, and we loved the unique staircase, with two ways of entering, a common middle section, and two ways of exiting. Everything about the home was exceptional, from the kitchen, to the dining and living rooms, to the bedrooms and bathrooms, to the upstairs sitting room. The front porch is a perfect place to sit with morning coffee, and the screened porch on the second floor was perfect for afternoon naps. The location of the home could not be more ideal, on a quiet street, but only a short walk to the central square, and only a short walk to the beach - using the neighborhood path on the west side of the house to access the private entrance at the E Ruskin Pavilion. And the added benefit of that neighborhood path is that it drops you right at the Black Bear Bread Co, with the best coffee (by far) in Seaside, plus amazing pastries (again, the best in town). Get there early to avoid the lines and before the pastries sell out!

The decor is overall very nice but the unusually small TV’s seem out of place for such a nice home. The front porch and entry doors need repainting. Typically this level of rental includes laundry and dishwasher supplies.

I know it is new to your collection so I do have a few notes that would help your renters experience :) 1) the driveway access is extremely hard to get in and out of 2) the AC has to be set really low in order to get the 2nd floor cooled of even a little3) I know your suppose to be on vacation but I like to sweep occasionally and the unit had nothing at all to tidy up with. Every other home we've stayed in at least had a broom.4) the only other things that would have been really nice is if the linens (ie. comforters and throw blankets were cleaned a lil more often. I know the white furniture gets stained and isn't as easy to throw in the washing machine lol.Just a little constructive criticismnot to be taken badly at all :) We can't wait to come back!!

Great property!

This was our first visit to Seaside and we couldn’t have had a better first experience with this property. It was perfectly located for the kids and adults to walk/bike everywhere.

Everything you need in the BEST location

We stayed at Fleur De Lis with our ten yr old twins and their grandparents and the house was spacious for 6. Kitchen is small but has everything you need and we enjoyed many home cooked dinners on the beautiful front porch. There is a fully screened porch on the second level accessible from all the bedrooms and it was the perfect place to retreat from the sun in the middle of the day and catch a nap or read a book. Location is a block off the main semi-circle at Seaside and so close that we didn’t even bother with bikes. Would consider returning to this property and would recommend to others 👍
