By far my favorite spot in all of Seaside. I loved the seclusion, yet it was within walking distance to restaurants, shops, grocery store and the beach!

So close to the town of Seaside

My family loves to hang out in Seaside and this house is close to the town center. We walked and rode bikes all around.

Overall not bad. These are suggestions for the property. A full matching set of cookware would be nice. The kitchen is not safe. There isn’t a vent for cooking, microwave below stove top. I would remodel kitchen to prevent accidents with those staying on the property.

Reviewer Comments: There aren't many places where you can look off at the back porch and feel like you're in a cabin and then walk several blocks out the front door to the beach. This home felt warm and inviting the moment we stepped through the front door. It's as if we'd be coming here our entire lives. We will be back.

Yet is was just close enough for my kiddos to go make their rounds through seaside with easy access. This home had plenty of room for the 6 of us and was the perfect for the trip. Would definitely come back to this place again.

Beautiful area

Location is awesome. Cleaning company did a poor job of cleaning before we arrived. Maintenance issues need to be addressed. The location is absolutely amazing. A little TLC and some deferred maintenance taken care of and this home would be amazing.

We enjoyed the Canal of a good time. The house was clean and comfortable. It’s a cozy house perfect for a family vacation. The location is good. We rented a golf cart which made it very easy and quick to get to a lot of places. The deck area was very nice and relaxing. The communication with the rental company was good. I didn’t need anything in the kitchen. Pretty much everything needed was there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Would recommend adding additional light along walking paths and driveway at night which can be a bit tricky to navigate at night. As it near many beach accesses it is very difficult to find parking to accommodate your golf cart.

Upstairs room good size but it gets hot even when lower area of house was cool. It would have been nice to have a few extra towels so that we didn’t have to do laundry every day. House is very private if you are looking for that. Recommend getting a golf cart to get to beach, Seaside etc. Overall house is a good value for the area. It satisfied our needs.

Photos come up short!

This is a special place, in a unique spot of an old (but developing) neighborhood. The house is lovely - we loved the pine floors, artwork and fixtures throughout, water lilies in the canal out back. The kitchen is beautiful and is reasonably furnished for our needs but if you’re a gourmet cook, you’d better bring that special pan or sharp knife from home. Kitchen sink is in need of faucet repair BOTH hot and cold valves are wonky. A broom, more glassware, and some additional pots and pans would put this place at the top of its game. That said, these are tiny issues in a special lovely home. We would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend to others with those minimal reservations. PS - it is truly prettier and has a warmer “feel” than the posted photos convey.

Great place but terrible beds

We absolutely love where this house was and how it was tucked away yet so close to seaside. The biggest things to know is that the mattress and pillows are the absolute worst we have ever experienced. The pillows were all flat and no matter the room you were in the mattresses were all so old and janky. The bunk beds were dirty and have probably not ever been cleaned. This property is managed by a local company and they will not allow early check in without an absurd amount which I find absolutely ridiculous. I own STR’s as well and I always allow early check in as long as my property is cleaned at no extra costs. It is all about customer service. Which is not what is provided when they use these large rental companies verses managing it themselves! We probably would not stay here again just bc of how bad the beds, sheets and pillows were. It is so important in your properties to ensure the best quality mattresses, sheets and pillows which they didn’t have any of the three.

Wish the master suite was upstairs. Wish they would have had a golf cart available because it was about a 12 minute walk to the beach and downtown area. Had a great time!
