Great place…so good I don’t want others finding out

We had a great time at this property. It was perfect for our family, and it’s sometimes hard to find rentals that are appropriate size for one family and not big groups in this area. Having a place that had almost everything we needed for the beach helped us have to pack so much less stuff. It is as described and it was great for us. Walking distance to beach access point and Stinky’s restaurant. We loved this place and will be back again I’m sure. Hope no one else finds out about this gem so we can snag it again.

Location was great! Beach access was so close and beach chair, bikes and kayaks were a plus. Lots of towels were provided.

It was super cute house, very comfortable and very close to the beach. We walked to several restaurants. Very quite at night. Large driveway. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay!

We had such a lovely time at leaning palms. The beds were comfy, the house had all the amenities as listed, it was clean, and the location can’t be beat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon!

Cozy, relaxing, great location

Our stay was very relaxing, as this was just a quick getaway trip before school starts. We booked with only 1 month notice, so there really wasn’t a lot to choose from in this area last minute. When pulling in, the curb appeal from this house is beautiful! There was some construction going on close by, but we always remember to bring sound machines. This house was very close to a beach access, but keep in mind that although the access is very close, there isn’t a big enough area for the public. A lot of the beach closest to this rental is private. If you want more room, you’ll have to actually drive down further. With that in mind, I really think that a golf cart would be a great addition to this rental! Some other things that came up that we thought should be addressed are- the house needs sprayed. We saw one small cockroach in the downstairs bathroom, but not until the day we checked out. As stated on other reviews, the furniture covering inside and outside needs to be cleaned! Also, the very dirty vent behind the upstairs toilet needs cleaned. Some things that need to be added to this rental are a broom, dustpan, & pot holders. Overall, it was a relaxing stay at a cute & cozy atmosphere.

Great rental property

Perfect size for 5 of us and could have fit 2 more. Very clean, updated and all needed amenities. Great location with a 1 minute walk to beach access and the beach is the best in the area. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Checked in and No WiFi or TV

This is a great location and a nice place to stay EXCEPT got there and no WiFi or TVs. None working. Shouldn’t that have been confirmed before arrival by Sanddollar?? Was told that there were renters three days prior and all was in working order. Just a disappointment. And could not be fixed until day before we checked out! Due to Mediacom being the only internet provider in the area. And we lost our AC for 24 hours. Sand dollar was responsive and gave us access to another condo a mile away but I chose Leaning Palms for location and close vicinity to other family staying on adjacent street so again feel that WiFi and TV should have been checked prior to check in so, at very least, could have been fixed before or soon after check in and not day before check out. Also there is absolutely no outlet in the downstairs bathroom for plugging in a hair dryer. And so I went to adjacent bedroom to use outlet there but absolute no mirror there so either add a mirror on wall above outlet in bedroom or add outlet to downstairs bathroom.

This property is a mess. Pealing plaster from the walls, dirty couches, holes in the walls and doors that are hardly openable.

Nothing worked and the home was in a state of repair

Arrived and this home was not as listed fences and gates had holes, ceilings damage, torn out door cushions. Appliances not working. Shower knobs falling off stained carpets dirty place mats left in table I had to wash to have my children use. Rude service team when they did come out full of excuses as to why things weren't working.

Red Door beach house

Loved our stay! Plenty of room for our group of six family members. Three suggestions/comments before ai list all of the great amenities: (1) Access to the front door differed from the check in instructions, as a key was needed. The door does not operate digitally alone. Thank you for the after hours management line calling back, even if we were about to report we sleuthed around and figured out the door. (2) It was a surprise to enter and note a Keurig machine in the kitchen, contrary to the description. (We had packed our own.) And, (3) is it possible to have an outlet on both sides of the bed in the master bedroom? We found only one outlet in that bedroom, which meant one of the cell phones had to be charged elsewhere. The location of this home was perfect, just short walk to beach access where there is a restroom and beach shower. Compared to other towns along 30A, this location was not congested with traffic. Loved having use of the 3 bicycles. Found lots of beach toys for the kids in the garage, along with many beach chairs (thank you!). Thank you for providing a good supply of linens as living the beach life means lots of showers. Our family loved our stay!

Great house! Amazing location!

Accurate description. Amazing location just a very short walk to the beach. Quiet area. Close to restaurants and shopping. We were there Labor Day weekend and if did not feel crowded at all. Enjoying walking and biking the trail on 30a. We would definitely recommend this property
