Great House

Great tram system that brings you anywhere in the resort and it is on demand. FANTASTIC community. Highly recommend.

Space was ideal but wasn’t that clean. Furniture needs updating. We cooked every evening and would have appreciated more pots and pans and silverware .

This property is very tired. Furniture is worn out and needs replacing badly. On our ck in day we noticed the tv in the downstairs master, the shower head and the half bath toilet were not working. The toilet water had been turned off so this was known prior to our arrival. Best beach did get someone to repair the toilet and shower head, albeit 2 days after ck in. The young man gene did a good job getting the fixed. Compared to other properties we’ve stayed in in watercolor I would give it a B- and wouldn’t rent it again

Our location was okay. It was too far from our other half of the family in Wayercolor.

Felt the property could do with a little TLC . It was clean and close to Publix and the Dragonfly Pool but too far from the other side . Perfect size for 4-6 people without being crowded. Comfortable and clean. Needs some freshening up. Outdoor cushions were so dirty and worn on the screen porch. Would not sit on them. Dryer no exhaust vent not connected and toilet paper holders missing some of the furnishings need freshening up and touch up paint here and there,

We enjoyed the stay! House was clean and beautiful! Great location to shopping pools and beach, hurricane Sally came so we got stuck in the house with branches scratching the roof and scary winds!! House held up we appreciate the home keeping us safe ;)

Clean place

We were happy to get down to Watercolor this year. We save up for this trip and sometimes it takes a few years. Although it was very clean, we did notice that the balcony room toilet handle was broken and unable to use. I love the privacy of this house and no car headlights blaring into the windows at night-such a good idea to have these few homes facing in towards a courtyard. It would have been nice to have a little packet of clothing detergent and water pressure for the hall bathroom shower. We needed the vacation badly, just expected the price to reflect the convenience.

This house had a nice layout, but it lacked maintenance and cleanliness.

Where to start. Sinks were clogged up, six ceiling lightbulbs were out, dryer vent was disconnected, pocket door handles fell off, porch cushions were filthy, cigar ashes on porch floor, not enough towels, grill was unusable (filthy and broken), and the front wooden walk had rotten boards.

Cockroach Infestation

The ONE star ratings I gave for cleanliness and accuracy of online listing are due to the fact that I don’t consider a property clean if there are bugs crawling all over everything (inside master shower, dishwasher, AND yes, even in the washing machine), nor did I see anything in the online listing about having to watch where we step for fear of dodging cockroaches. There’s nothing relaxing about making sure there isn’t a very large roach crawling out of our shoes before we put them on. I had to throw away a very nice pair of Ugg slippers because as I was putting my foot into one after waking in the middle of the night to walk to bathroom, my foot crushes one! Needless to say once the pest control services were finally done on our 3 day there, we woke up each morning thereafter to a cockroach mass grave!! I had to sweep up dozens every morning before I could even start breakfast for my family. Erica was as helpful as she could be so I don’t fault her for the issues we had. She quickly had towels (master bath had ONE bath towel and washcloth) and missing kitchen utensils sent over. However, I would make sure I wasn’t representing a property that, in our opinion, borders on being removed from rental sites by the Florida Health Department. Couldn’t relax in living area or watch a movie with my family because speakers were blown and it would’ve been stressful anyway because at ALL times I was looking for a roach to appear. We’ve vacationed in Watercolor/Seaside every summer for the last decade and never even saw one bug in a house, much less an infestation... I realize I should’ve demanded that we be moved to another property, but given the last minute decision to reserve a house (due to recent and unfortunate diagnosis), I knew there wouldn’t be anything available and we thought we’d attempt to make the best of it. Oh, and returning to house from a day at beach on July 4TH to NO ELECTRICITY and impending darkness with no way to see if we’re stepping on bugs or knowing how long it had been out or if I needed to throw food out of the refrigerator was the perfect way to top off this disaster of a vacation. I could only laugh til I cried at that point.
