This is our third year staying at a house along 30A in the Santa Rosa Beach area. Eric’s house was by far the best one we’ve stayed in so far. We had a few small hiccups in the beginning, but Eric was super quick to respond and very gracious with trying to make sure things were easy for us. Our group had 4 kiddos under the age of 8, and the house has a lot of nice touches for kids like kids plates / cups, bunk beds, a bunch of pool and beach toys, and a brand new pool. The pool was awesome because it was just big enough for our kids to swim from one end to the next, but it also has a ledge around most sides so they don’t have to swim too far. It’s also in the shade in the morning and evening so we didn’t have to stress as much about sunscreen. In addition to the pool at the house, there is the massive neighborhood pool. The neighborhood pool was one of the primary reasons we wanted to rent in this neighborhood. The pool wasn’t crowded, and it was a short golf cart ride from the house.The location for the house is also really convenient. It’s a short 5 minute golf cart ride down 393 to the public beach entrance on 30A. I was initially a little worried because this seemed like a busier road, but the road has a speed limit of only 25 on the section where you have to drive and there are lots of other golf carts. As of June 2025, the golf cart is a brand new electric golf cart with wireless CarPlay / android auto. Thanks again to the Knotts for sharing their house!
