Family Spring Break

Seaside was absolutely beautiful and The Homeowners Collection was so lovely to communicate with!! Our cottage was very cozy and fit our family needs! Some things are very dated on the property and could use some touch up or replacement based on the price point. We were overall very content and would stay in Seaside again!! The front porch was our favorite spot to start and end the day!

We loved being tucked back on a little sandy path, and I cherish my quiet nights on that porch drinking wine and reading while the exhausted little ones slept in their special upstairs alcove.

While it is small, we like the king size bed, soaker tub, and front porch. Easy access to the beach and family pool. Being all on one level made the place even better. While it may seem small in the pictures, it is actually perfect for a couple. Plenty of space to move about and it is well stocked for a stay. The front porch was a fantastic place to have breakfast each morning or sip on a glass of wine in the evening.

There’s a set of stairs that go up to a small loft with 2 beds if you have kids old enough to climb ladders. We were just across the street from the pool and 5 min walk to the private beach. We will definitely rent again.

We had 2 teenagers, who slept in the loft, but it was tight. Can’t stand up in loft and only 1 bathroom, which with 2 teen girls was a little challenging, but doable. The owner is close by and stopped to check on us. The management company was amazing. Answered immediately to any request.

The lofted beds were a little too high for our young kids, you’d probably want your kids to be at least 6 to sleep up there safely. The property met all our needs although we did have a scare when my foot broke right through a rotted floorboard on the deck and narrowly missed an injury. Overall the Management company was great and we loved our stay!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage has a lovely porch. It did not have any hangers in the closet and no dresser to store clothes. Possibly a queen sized bed would allow room for clothes storage and cheap dry cleaner hangers would do. I thought the coverings on the furniture were unattractive and added to the feeling of cramped space.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honahlea is a cute cottage with a lovely front porch and a great location. The furniture (loveseat and chair) is rather uncomfortable, and the bed is hard as a rock. The bathroom could use some updates, and the bathrom fan only worked intermittently, so it was always damp in there. I would not rent this particular cottage again. The management was very helpful and responsive, and deserves 5 stars.
