Adorable Cottage with Issues
If I was rating the cottage on staging and decor alone, I would give it 5 stars.Outdoor deck & lawn is lovely! Mgmt responded quickly when contacted.Unfortunately,the property was filthy when we checked in.At check in,I texted the mgmt company to let them know that there was a broken drawer in the kitchen that wouldn't close, the water purifier didn't work at all,the floors looked like they had not been swept in weeks and the master bathroom had not been cleaned. They sent someone out the next day to fix the drawer but the only response that I got to other issues was,"we will let the team know". Master bath had cleaner around the toilet bowl that had just dried in streaks down the bowl.The mirror and sink had toothpaste spots and the shower had not been cleaned at all. It looked like they had maybe sprayed some cleaner on it but never washed away the cleaner or the hair on the floor.The glass doors had definitely not been cleaned.There were piles of pet hair and dust bunnies all over the floor and rugs.Since mgmt didn't offer to have cleaners back (or even an apology) I cleaned it myself. Not a great way to start a vacation! The opposite side of the basically one way street is all trailers. There is no beach access at Rams gate at this time and due to lake flooding,we had to go to the opposite side of the lake to access beach. No ice maker as advertised, just 2 plastic trays.If the house had been clean,it would have gone a LONG way to negating the other issues.
