Beautiful Place and Great Location

We came down for a company fishing trip. Some of the guys enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the house and the close proximity to the beach so much that they decided not to go out on the boat. One dislike we had is the door alarms that go to the pool. 12 men in and out all day and the acknowledge button only worked half the time. Very loud and obnoxious, especially for those who were sleeping on the bunks by the main house door. We understand the purpose is to protect children but when there are only adults you should be able to disable that for the weekend. Also the interface to turn music on around the pool was locked out. Maybe that's only for the owners use. All the bikes either had flat tires or busted chains. We certainly still had a good time and would book with Diamond Realty again in the future but these were just a few items that could be improved upon.

Family vacation

Our stay was very nice. I would recommend the outside furniture cushions get a good cleaning and the main house living room furniture be a little more comfortable, I am 79 and it was difficult getting out of the sofas, Great location

Great house, questionable beach access

This was a fantastic house for accomodating all of our family and friends, which included 7 families and kids. Pros- 1. We never felt like we were "squished" and there was plenty of room to spread out. 2. The property managers were very responsive when called about the shower that stopped working, stopped up sink, and the air conditioning felt "off." PS. Air conditioners in FL are generally not turned below 72 degrees due to the possibility of it freezing up. It worked great on the top floor but was progressively hotter as you went down, which seemed off. 3. Very well stocked with towels, kitchen appliances, and beach equipment. 4. The pool was smaller but clean and very nice. Cons: Beach access was very close, within walking distance, and manageable with small children. However, PUBLIC beach access was a small sliver from the boardwalk to the ocean and flanked on both sides by PRIVATE beach property. If you don't get there early, you will miss setting up on public beach access. We were chased off the PRIVATE BEACH (insert eye roll) twice because we set up very close to the PUBLIC beach. It was a real hassle and wish this had been more clear when renting the house. It's irritating when security makes you move your beach tent off an empty slice of beach- 15 feet over to be on public access. The second con, the doors have a pool alarm so anytime you go outside an adult has to push the button before an alarm goes off. I am very glad there was a pool alarm on all the doors considering we had small children. However, it was very touchy and very very loud. It gave you 3 seconds to push the button and sometimes even after hitting the button the alarm for the door still went off. I wish there had been a way to make it not so touchy or increase the time to hit the button because it kept waking up small children taking naps. Otherwise, great house, and loved the pool house in the back. I would highly recommend for large families and groups.

Nice home with space for everyone

Everything was great once the pool heated up which took a couple of days. There were bikes and beach toys and chairs which were a nice surprise. The fire pit was great and both houses were well equipped. The pool house was a great space! The biggest issue we had was that the main house is VERY mildew smelling. My daughter has allergies and was unable to go into the house without feeling uncomfortable. We also had issues with all the pollen on the outdoor furniture and had to clean and sweep before we could use.

Family Spring Break

Wonderful family spring break. This was our first time staying on the West end of 30A and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. Much quieter than Seaside and Sea Grove area. The house was a quick walk to the beach (easy beach access) and all the shops in Santa Rosa Beach. The house and guest house offered plenty space for our family of 7 to spread out and have their own space. The pool is fantastic, especially with added heating. We used the pool for several hours every day since the water at the beach was closed due to rip tides. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for family dinners. The guest house is absolutely gorgeous and you could easily do two families or two groups with the space in the main house and guest house. All in all a comfortable house and wonderful outdoor space. I particularly liked having the two beach chairs provided daily at the beach. It basically helps reserve your spot on the small public beach each day. The home owners are gracious to leave bikes and lots of extras like beach chairs, beach toys and pool toys for guest to use responsibly. The rental company was responsive and sent helpful reminders and info throughout the stay. Thank you for a wonderful 30A experience.

Roomy, convenient and just what we needed

House was well equipped. Manager was responsive. Beach was close, and pool was perfect. It was nice being able to enjoy the beach and a pool while easily staying socially distant.

Our Forever Wells Wedding HQ

I don’t even know where to begin. This property was everything we could have asked for. We had plenty of space and each of our guests had the privacy they needed as well. The brand new guest house was an extremely appreciated. The pool, which we paid extra to have heated, was another jewel in the crown. We used the bicycles to ride the short .6 miles to the public beach and even used the sand tools to build castles in the beach surf. We could not have had a better experience and we definitely rent this property again of the need arises.

Loved our stay at Footprint!

Check in was a breeze! House was amazing! We had a large family and everyone had plenty of space! We made great memories and can't wait to return!! Guesthouse was a hit also! We loved having an extra kitchen by the pool!

Exceeded expectations!

This property is perfect for our party of 10 including 2 kids under 5. Close to the beach and the home was spotless upon arrival. The owners/property managers were attentive to our needs and acted quickly! They did a spectacular job anticipating the needs of the guests. We will definitely be staying here again! The pool is clean and is a great size, plus the basketball goal is neat addition. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Absolutely beautiful!

So me and my extended family stayed in this home for 7 days, and I can't think of anything but good things!! It was spacious enough so that everyone had there own space, the pool was big enough for all 12 of us to be in at the same time and even for a great game of pool volleyball!! The guest house has everything the main house has!! And the main house was so spacious and was great for all of us to be in the home at the same time! The beach is so close!!! We also loved the bikes that are provided, me and my 3 kids were able to enjoy morning bike rides!! The bike trail leads all around the area which is wonderful for family bike rides! So all in all we had an amazing stay at Footprints in the sand!!

Perfect!

Our family of 14, including 4 generations, stayed in this rental in early June. The house is decorated beautifully, is comfortable and spacious, and worked perfectly for the multiple generations. And, this property is only steps from the beach and has a great pool. We enjoyed working with the rental company and loved their attentiveness and knowledge of the house and community. Although the property can hold more than our party - it really worked nicely to have the extra beds and space, in general. From our perspective - we highly recommend this property and hope to make a trip back and rent again. Thanks VRBO and Diamond Gulf Rentals!
