We had stayed at this property previously when it was under different management, and absolutely loved it. They had just done the renovations, it was clean, beautiful, and had the most amazing view. The view was still there, but it seems like the new property owners did not care at all about the cleanliness of the property. We got there, and there was food still caked on the stove from the previous guests, dirty dishes had been put away, and the washer and dryer were in disrepair. That pales in comparison to the number of bugs we had to deal with when we were there. They were roaches galore, spiders, crawling up the wall, ants crawling across the television, just to name a few. we called multiple times about the bugs, they said that they came out to spray, but even then didn’t do anything about the food left in the kitchen. It was up to us to do cleaning when we got there. I don’t pay to go on vacation to have to clean up after other people. While we did get a partial refund, I still ended up leaving two days in because I cannot stand to stay in something so filthy.
