Great seaside spot

Great home. Comfortable and close walk to all shops etc. Far enough away to feel private. Beach is great and super close. Definitely rent the chairs. Pretty peek a boo view from loft room. Stairs are steep so good for teens. Well organized process for check in etc.

We just happened to leave the day before Beryl hit the Texas coast and we spent the week in Monday's Child. The property is great and the location is a perfect mix of proximity to the beach and just a quick walk to the city center.Our entire family had a great time and we are ready to return next year!

Perfect location

We stayed her for a quick girls’ trip with my daughters and friends. If you’re looking for a location convenient to the beach and all of the shops and restaurants in Seaside, this is your spot! The kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely updated. The only cons were poor Wi-Fi and the fact that bedding and slipcovers on the furniture could stand to be updated and refreshed. My favorite part was being right across the road from the beach! Even through you’re on the main highway, the trees out front provide plenty of shade and privacy. We loved this home and the convenience it offered!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience staying right next to all things downtown Seaside. The house was exactly as described. Super clean with an AMAZING wrap around porch where we spent most of our time. While a bit tight for our eight people, we made it work. Only thing I'd change is the lack of amenities, you only get starter toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher detergent, etc. so we did have to make a run for those essentials along the way and do a load of laundry of towels since it would have been an extra charge to get more. That felt a bit stingy. Otherwise this stay was great!

The location was IDEAL, across from beach entrance, 2 blocks from Seaside center, straight walk to soccer field, volleyball, tennis, & pickle ball courts. Monday’s Child’s front porch is huge, filled with furniture, made it fun to witness 30A action. The home was spacious and clean. Each teen had their own bed! Highly recommend this property & Seaside!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our house, Monday’s Child, was wonderful! It was perfectly clean and very comfortable... Plenty of room for everyone. We were surprised at the welcome gifts in the kitchen when we arrived, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Everything was seamless, from receiving access codes to the house & the beach to Cabana Man for beach chair reservations and the seaside transit authority for our bicycles. The management staff followed up with us periodically throughout our trip and responded quickly to any questions we had. Everyone was friendly and helpful, which made our vacation so enjoyable! It was my daughter’s boyfriend’s first time to the beach in his life, and this trip set the standard for any future beach trips they plan to have. We plan to return frequently. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation but for the cost of the rental was very disappointed by two things. One faucet fixtures were very loose and moved all over the place. Worse the master shower was a problem. It is narrow which is fine but no matter what you did the shower curtain would not stay off of your body. While taking a shower it would blow in and adhere to skin and was not at all a pleasant experience. I don’t know what the fix is but paying enough to be able to enjoy a shower.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were here for a week & had a wedding to attend. The location is great if beach access is your top priority. Because it is on 30A, just know it is noisy due to all the car and golf cart traffic + bike and walking traffic. The trees in front of cottage help immensely to provide some privacy. The cottage itself has a great front porch..we spent a lot of our time on the porch. Inside is nice..we felt the bedrooms were too small for our preference. Really wasn’t enough room for clothes, suitcases, etc. it’s really 2 bedrooms + a loft w/ a bed. was fine, but we probably won’t stay here again. We would prefer further away from the main road and a bigger place. Still a 5 star review from us...because it’s awesome to be in 30A with the beauty of the area.

Little Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of the home was excellent, however, there were a few items that lacked attention or needed upgrading. The internet was terrible and would cut out more times than was working. Housekeeping was not good at all! I sent pictures as soon as we got there as there was things splattered on the wall and bedroom door that we couldn't identify. Dryer filter was disgusting and deteriorated. We just felt at that level of cost, there would be more upgrades and furnishings.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental house was in very good condition with sleeping for 1-2 adults and multiple children. Impressed with the amount of drawers and storage for unpacking, and the living room is very comfortable. The second floor balcony was perfect for watching the 4th of July fireworks. The appliances were clean and functioning. I do wish there were some basics left in the kitchen like salt & pepper & coffee filters, but the office was very accommodating and brought over filters and extra mugs when we asked. The dishwasher was not emptied ahead of time which is why I didn't know where the mugs and cutting board were on arriving. The paint in the main bathroom is peeling off the wall and should be addressed. The wifi signal throughout the house was weak, and the tv in the main bedroom didn't work bc it was so weak. The main problem, unfortunately, is something that needs to be fixed in Seaside in general. Every night there was a loud parade of trucks and golf carts blasting music well through 12:00am. There were fireworks set off next to the driveway more than once, although that did improve once the sheriffs office put more cars out. As a lone adult in charge of 4 teenage girls I felt unsafe and nervous every night. I do not blame the management company, but I will not be returning to Seaside. I was also put off by the extreme over pricing for everything in the square but then felt constrained by the kitchen as far as cooking went. I hope Seaside fixes its problems for the sake of the owners and long time vacationers.

Reviewer Comments: Mondays Child is a good house if you want to be close to the beach, close the parties, and close to the action! Although there are some trees to help, the noise level can be a little rowdy! This was all fine, as we had no babies or senior citizens. The patio is great and the bathrooms have been updated. There is a few things the kitchen needs but all in all it was fine for what we needed and how much time we spent there. The proximity to the beach was amazing.
