This property was perfect for what we needed. The location was amazing and biking distance to everything we could need. Restaurants, shops, the beach! The home was comfortable and clean. Management company was top notch! Will definitely be staying here again!! Highly recommend.

We Had Blast

The property is a beach house. Meaning it doesn’t have a lot of frills. However, it was clean, it was very close to the beach, the ac worked great, the outdoor shower was a huge plus, and we enjoyed lots of restaurants / shopping within biking distance. We really enjoyed our stay. We would go back. No complaints just a suggestion, It could use a new Master Bed. Kind of dated and lumpy for a weeks stay.

We have stayed in this neighborhood many times and we love the location and the beach access. The house was clean and the minimal contact we needed to have with the rental company was always responded to very quickly. They provide the starter basics like coffee filters, dishwashing detergent/soap, and some laundry detergent. The only two things that I would add for improvement are the size of the family room television and just some general touch up paint on the exterior. We loved the screened in porch as well as the other three porches on the property.

We will be Back!

Check in process was super easy to figure out and everything went smoothly! We enjoyed our stay and miss it already! The house was right across from the pool and a very short walk to the beach! Also enjoyed the bikes as well! Everything was clean and ready for us! thank you for the great easy stay we will definitely be back!

Rocky start - smooth stay

When we first arrived there was a vehicle parked in the driveway for the house. The parking areas are small to begin with and no parking is allowed on the street. I called the management company but they had no help for us. Walking into the house we were also surprised to find the bedrooms on the lower level and the living room/kitchen on the upper level. It may have been detectable from photos on the listing, but we certainly didn't pick up on this until arrival. Overall good stay. Good kitchen furnishings for our needs. Don't expect to watch much TV if staying there unless you sit close and have your own streaming subscriptions.

Beautiful location on 30A

Just 2 minute walk to the beach. This house is conveniently located to Goatfeathers (great restaurant) and ice cream shop, where we also rented a golf cart for a few days of our stay. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The house was beautiful and across the street from the community pool and grills. We met many neighbors in the evenings.

HARTFELT SANTA ROSA BEACH SHOCKED AT THE FILTHY CONDITION OF HARTFELT (HF)Phoned/emailed 30aescapes.com (property manager) multiple times about filth-see attached mails/pictures ALL Carpets HEAVILY soiled Shower BR#1 didn’t work;shower BR#2 after 2 mins,tub full of standing water.Nasty! Mold on Kitchen sink faucet Walls,window blinds,lampshades,dust buildup & hair stuck to doors. AC filter/vent full of dust.We woke up coughing due to allergens MISSREPRESENTED SLEEPS 10 COMFORTABLY Not unless they are small humans.Who wants a toddler on floors in this place?*inadequate bedding-ONLY 3 bed covers,only sheets for other 7 sleeping places*den seating limited to 5 people w/dated,threadbare loveseat; & small 3 cushion couch.Where are the other 5 people to sit? “Peek a Boo Gulfview from 3rd Floor Balcony” HF has no 3rd floor; NO gulf view as advertised*porches-molded/deteriorating. Paid over $5K+ for a filthy unit that DOES NOT MATCH ADVERTISED DESCRIPTION.Pictures distort the size of the unit and the filth within HF IS WAY OVERPRICED TO THE POINT OF PRICE GOUGING.WE HAVE RENTED ON 30A FOR 25 YEARS;HAVE NEVER BEEN AS SHOCKED/DISGUSTED BY THIS OVERPRICED,OVER-RATED,MISREPRESENTED RENTAL The property owners & 30aespapes have done a tremendous disservice to customers. Prior to booking/arrival,multiple calls to 30aent.Agents,“new owners purchased the unit w/intent to upgrade;pictures not available-upgrades/renovations underway & will be complete before arrival;owners must not have been able to get a photographer to take pictures find pictures on Zillow”

Great location south of 30A near GulfPlace and walking distance from beach

Old Florida Cottages are walking distance (approx 0.4 mi) from Gulf View Heights public beach access point. Easy walk with a cooler and bag. (We used Vacayzen beach chair service so we didn't have to carry extra equipment.) Unit comfortably slept our family of 4 including 2 teenagers who used the full-size bunk beds. (We did not use the additional sleeper-sofa.) Community pool is about 30 yards from front door -- great for keeping little ones entertained, and the entire complex honored the 10pm quiet time. Two community grills next to pool were both clean and working and we were able to use them daily for dinner. Unit could use some minor repairs/updates -- a few loose floor tiles, small holes in porch screens, worn carpet in heavy traffic areas -- but nothing that limited the functionality of the unit. Outdoor shower was a wonderful amenity to keep sand and salt out of the unit. Only negative was rental bikes that come with property were both a bit rusty. They functioned, but were very loud and creaky. Your first journey should be a ride to a nearby bike shop and kindly ask for some grease on the chains, pedals, cranks and head-tube.
