We had a great time staying here. Wonderful house. Just a golf cart ride to most things we wanted to do. We loved this area as well. Thank you for having us. If we make it back we will try to stay here again.

Beautiful Cottage, Wonderful location

Beautiful cottage, wonderful location. Unfortunately, the property had not been cleaned when we arrived. The property manager made arrangements to clean the property, but we had to be relocated to a different location for a night.

Great getaway

We left snow on the ground at our place and went to this nice, quiet, sunny place - secluded, gated, 4min to grocery and walking distance to the beach. The floor plan was well laid-out and had plenty of room for the five of us. Loved it, would come again...

Quick beach getaway

Very nice, quiet neighborhood that felt secure all the time. Quick bike ride to public beach access or a quick golf cart ride to another parking area for golf cart beach access. Seaside is close by for shopping and food. The house was so comfortable and clean. I highly recommend.

Okay Place to Stay

Location is nice but the overall property is a little run down. The couches & dining chairs are stained. The 2nd bathroom has a musky smell (we bought candles for the week) which can smell throughout. The floors & drawers were dirty. Overall the entire property needs a deep cleaning. Be sure to read the description, the golf cart is not included. The outdoor area was nice but, we didn’t use (too cold during our stay) & was convenient to have the grill.

Perfect get away cottage!!!

Last minute beach trip and couldn’t have picked a better place! Very clean and super cute! There are 2 box fans in the closets that we found very useful in our bedroom and in the front bedroom. There are many homes being built (one that was lost due to fire and one next to it bc of fire along with some new construction) but I’m telling you we actually loved it bc we pretty much had the street and pool to ourselves. It was still very quiet (I WAS SHOCKED) and they don’t have large crews working on every house at the same time. 100% unnoticeable so don’t be alarmed if you pull up and see this taking place. Cottage has everything u need but do know there are zero spices, condiments, etc bc they keep it very clean. So if u need salt & pepper… sugar… bring it. Golf cart was the only transportation we used it was WONDERFUL! Loved the location and the amenities we will definitely be back!

Nice Cottage Close to Beach

This cottage was nice and close to the beach and shopping. I would stay here again. I only took off 1 star due to a broken bathroom pocket door in the master that was annoying to open and close for privacy, and there was also new construction going on right next door and across the street where a home Had burnt down, even having said that, it was a lovely cottage and a great location near the beach and seaside shopping and food.

A Wonderdul Spring Break

Loved the house and loved the location! Would definitely rent this house again! Be warned, there is construction going on right in the immediate area. But, it doesn’t really affect your trip, unless you’re planning to stay home all day.

Nice Property - Convenient

Weeklong stay with my son and his friends. Nice property with great screened in porch and private backyard deck. Bikes were a nice amenity and the secluded private neighborhood was close to grocery shopping and access to Seaside town center.

WONDERFUL!

I cant say enough good things about The Cottage or Real Joy, who were great at communication and assistance. I read there was construction, so I requested box fans, and they deliver three to us. The location is amazing, beautiful, and quiet. There are more homeowners than rentals in the neighborhood, I think, so it is super quiet. The pool is directly outside our front door. While it is not heated it was a great place to lay out and avoid the cold breeze from the Beach. The Cottage is so cozy, with extra blankets and everything you need. They have a Keurig coffee pit but also a traditional one in the cabinets for all you coffee drinkers out there. We will for sure stay here again, and if it's booked, I will go straight to Real Joy for another property, in all our years going, they were the best one to work with. Also if the sheet on the fridge has not been updated for the wifi password, switch the first two numbers after the first letter, wifi works great here.

5 minute bike to watercolor center

Beautiful house. Uncomfortable king bed. It was uneven, maybe two fulls pushed together? There was no sponge to wash the dishes but we were expected to was the dishes. Expecting your guests to purchase their own toilet paper and dishwasher pods when you will penalize them for not washing every single dish used is unbelievably inexcusable. Charge an extra $3 a day and make sure the basic amenities that are expected of any stay across the country are included. The 4 bikes were awesome. The house was cozy and cute. We enjoyed the fireplace out back as well. Everything’s worked correctly.

It makes me sad to give such a Beautiful Property a Poor Review

The house was gorgeous! We carefully choose this home because of its location, tucked away from everything. I was looking forward to reading books and relaxing on the incredible wrap around porches. What wasn't disclosed to us was that two homes next to use were under construction. Banging, power tools, men yelling, construction vehicles in & out started around 7:30 each day and lasted ALL DAY. THIS WAS NOT RELAXING. I called Real Joy (the mgmt co.) on the first day asking to be moved and was told they would work on it and someone would get back with me. No one did. I had to continue to call them- EVERY DAY. They apologized for my "minor inconvenience" and said it wasn't their problem since there wasn't any actual issues with the home. We booked this home based on the ad which described a beautiful home, which is was, in a tranquil neighborhood, which it was not. Real Joy didn't care that our vacation was not restful or relaxing. . I would caution anyone who is considering a vacation rental managed through them. It is sad such a gorgeous property is managed by a company that doesn't care about vacations. *Since we left they have changed the ad of the rental to state that there is construction nearby. This is too late for for us but hopefully someone else will be warned.

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bramble House! It is so beautifully decorated and the location was perfect! We would have booked again over Labor Day but it was already booked. We definitely will return!
