Our experience at High Cotton was exemplary in every possible way. The host was so lovely, warm, helpful and responsive. I find that life can be at its busiest right before heading out on vacation and she sent just the right amount of information and number of well-timed reminders to ensure that we were well prepared and well-briefed ahead of time for a smooth and carefree kick-off to our getaway. The home itself is stunning, luxurious and thoughtfully appointed with anything you could possibly need--it was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The kitchen will meet the needs of the most discerning and demanding chef. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful--we felt so pampered--and there is a beautiful office if you need a quiet place for work or a zoom. The bunk room/suite for kids is delightful and a special bonus is a cozy sleeping porch with hanging beds that gently rock in the breeze--perfect for an afternoon nap after a day at the beach. Finally, the location is ideal. You are a quick golf cart or bike ride to the beach club, to the heart of Seaside and to the nearest grocery store and Camp Watercolor is just a short walk from the house. Despite its proximity to all of the "action" in Watercolor and Seaside, the house is wonderfully quiet as it backs up to a beautifully wooded area. Serenity all around! We unanimously agreed that we would all happily and enthusiastically return in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at High Cotton. The house is beautiful and so comfortable! The kids loved the pool, the screened in sleeping porch and the culdesac to rides bikes. My favorite was the all season room to watch movies with the fireplace going! Deborah was great and responded quick if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. This house was spacious with plenty of room for us to all enjoy time together, but also had space for us to be able to enjoy time alone as well. We all slept so soundly in the comfortable beds. The bunk room was perfect for the kids to bunk up together. The owners were so responsive and gave us many recommendations for activities and dining options in the area. The house itself is well equipped for cooking and dining at home as well. The location is perfect and easy to walk or ride bikes to Camp Watercolor. The golf cart was perfect for trips to the beach and beach club. We would definitely recommend this house and will return again one day!

We’ve stayed in several homes at Watercolor and High Cotton was our favorite. Very clean when we arrived. We had an amazing stay in WaterColor, Florida! The house was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, which made cooking and dining in a breeze.The beds were super comfortable, and we especially loved all the extra spaces to relax—the cozy sleeping porch, the welcoming front porch, and the air-conditioned sunroom in the back, which was perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach.The included golf cart was a huge plus and made getting to the beach and exploring the area so easy and fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our vacation. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Thanksgiving Bliss!

We just wrapped up the most incredible Thanksgiving week at this stunning home and we can’t stop raving about it! This house had EVERYTHING we needed for a perfect family getaway. The enormous kitchen was a dream for cooking our holiday feast, equipped with every utensil and gadget imaginable. The heated pool was absolute luxury—perfect for lounging and swimming, even on cooler evenings. The kids (and adults) loved retreating to the cozy sleeping porch, where they had their own little hideaway to watch movies and relax. The house offered plenty of space for all 10 of us to enjoy time together while also finding quiet corners to unwind. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch, walking to the nearby stores, or exploring the charming Watercolor neighborhood, this trip created unforgettable memories for our family. If you’re looking for a home that combines comfort, style, and fun, this is it! We’re already dreaming of coming back!!

High Cotton is an absolutely beautiful property! The home is large and spacious, beautiful inside and out with too many amenities to count. Great location in the culdesac. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great open kitchen overlooking family room with central area. Rooms are spacious, TV's are all setup to have all that you need. The owner is amazing, you can tell she truly cares and wanted us to enjoy our stay. We all loved the pool! The golf cart was so convenient it added another layer of perfection! Walking, biking or golfcart distance to Seaside, Watercolor Beach Club, Camp Watercolor and Publix. Also the cleanliness of the home, It was absolutely impeccable! Such a remarkable and special place our family fell in love with it from day one, we can't wait to go back! Thank You!!

High Cotton is perfect in every way!!

The time my family spent at High Cotton was perfect in every way. The house is located on a quiet cut-de-sac within walking or golfcart distance to Seaside, Watercolor Beach Club and Camp Watercolor. Our time spent at all three locations provided fun for all members of our multigenerational family. The home is large and spacious so we never felt crowded or on top of one another. There were 4 families, 14 of us in total (age 2 all the way up to 70 yrs old) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, enjoy family time together or even have some quiet time alone. The home is really a special place, beautiful inside and out with too many amenities to count. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly imagine or need. I also really loved and appreciated the alarm button on the door out to the pool. We had kids in our group that are not able to swim so that feature was a huge bonus and provided an extra level of protection. The owner is also a wonderful person. She was immediately responsive to our questions and any needs we had. You can tell she truly cares and wanted us to enjoy our stay. If you have the opportunity, I HIGHLY recommend booking High Cotton for your next vacation. I know my family can’t wait to go back.

Great Stay at HighCotton in Watercolor

High Cotton was perfect for our family getaway with 7 adults and 13 kids. They were well stocked with everything we needed and Debbie the host was always available and communicative. Great location with easy access via the golf cart to everything watercolor has to offer. All weather porch on first floor was the perfect hangout spot and 2nd floor sleeping porch was a nice getaway for quiet time and reading. Pool alarm on door to pool area is a great safety feature with our little ones and the pool backing up to nature reserve allows for privacy. Great stay highly recommend.

Excellent family vacation!

We had a wonderful time on our spring break vacation in this lovely home! We had teenagers, adults and children ages 9 to 6 and everyone had room to spread out, sleep well and plenty of time and space to relax! We all loved the pool! The home has all of the amenities anyone could want or need and the golf cart was so convenient it added another layer of perfection to our trip! Also the cleanliness of the home, It was absolutely impeccable! We will definitely be back! We have stayed in Watercolor many times but this is by far our favorite spot! Thank you!

The perfect family holiday

We come to Watercolor every Christmas, and have stayed in several homes around the Watercolor community. We now have a favorite, and could not have imagined a better place to spend our holiday. Debbie was the most wonderful person to work with. She made things seamless and communicated so well throughout the months leading gu to our stay. The home was impeccable and stunning-everything was perfect. The kitchen had so many things for me to cook Christmas dinner with. Our family loved watching football and holiday movies in the den. They truly had thought of everything. The beds are lovely to sleep on, laundry is there for you to use, and all furniture is cozy and comfortable. Our children (9 and 12) had their own area on the top floor to play and watch TV and just be kids. There is plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. The street is quiet and backyard is so peaceful. We hope to come back to High Cotton for all of our trips in the future.

Just as breathtaking in person!

I've made many trips to 30a over the last few years. While listings often display beautifully curated photos, the trend I've experienced is that the photos don't typically reflect the current state of the property. Not this one. "High Cotton" was just as breathtaking in person as in photos. Not only was it immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, it was tucked away in a quiet corner of Watercolor yet conveniently located. Every detail was considered. Fully stocked with every imaginable tool or appliance, the kitchen was ready for the chef to whip up delectable dinners or for the foodie to store their dinner leftovers and everyone in between. The bathrooms were aptly stocked and the beds were more than comfortable. With our large family gathering, there was still plenty of space for everyone to spread out and nobody to feel claustrophobic. If you live the laptop lifestyle, there's a perfect study where you can get some work done before heading off to the beach. Watercolor is a fantastic neighborhood for exploring on bike and was a highlight for everyone. When I needed to contact the owner, she was quick to communicate, making check-in easy. Considering the desirable location, size of the home, and attentiveness to every detail, "High Cotton" is undeniably our favorite rental we've had in the area and one we would definitely rent again.

A True Gem

My family of 14 (ages 1 to 70) had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING time at High Cotton, which is a VERY special place. Our gracious host made sure that checking in and out was easy and expeditious. The house exceeded all expectations. Each room was beautifully decorated and spacious. We loved the high ceilings and beautiful artwork. But the best thing were the common areas, including the indoor and outdoor porches which allowed us to spent time together as well as relax alone. The kids bunk bed area on the second floor was the perfect place for a cousin sleep-over. The beautifully designed and well equipped kitchen inspired several (mostly male!) family members to cook gourmet meals and the pool was an absolute lifesaver providing endless entertainment for the little kids (the pool alarm made this very safe). One of us had to work and the library was the perfect place to do this undisturbed. Everybody loved the close proximity to the various pools and beaches, and the restaurants were only a bike ride away! All my children and their spouses agreed that this was the PERFECT vacation for a family like ours, which is generally hard to please! We will definitively be back!

This is a really great rental property. We had four kids 4 and under and it worked beautifully. Loved the location in Watercolor. Can’t say enough about the home itself and the communication from the owner. We will definitely be back!
