Perfect family vacation

Great location! The room setup was perfect for our family of 6. The private beach with chairs and umbrellas was wonderful. We also really enjoyed dinners the balcony dining table by the beach! Thanks for such wonderful memories with our family!

Again, this house provided us such a fun and memorable weekend. Perfect location with great shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach is never too crowded during our time and it is always stunning

Perfect Beach Cottage

Everything about this beach cottage was great. I had to do some of the dishes when we got there and the couches have definitely seen better days but its a rental and that is to be expected. The views make up for any of my OCD issues and we will definitely be back.

Fall Break

Perfect getaway! We loved being right on the beach. It was so convenient and just beautiful! Being within walking distance to several restaurants and shops was an added bonus. We will be back.

Beautiful Beach and House

My family had a Great time staying here. The weather kept the water closed for a couple of days, but the babies loved playing in the white sand. The house was very comfortable and very close to nice restaurants that we frequented. We definitely want to return afain.

My family and I stayed at Sunrise Cottage for the week of Christmas and the experience was excellent, just as advertised, and we would definitely come back again. The host was very responsive when answering our questions. The house was fantastic with being right on the beach with amazing views and walking distance to restaurants/shops. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone that enjoys the beach life and we plan on coming back again in the future.

The Perfect Beach Cottage

We booked our stay at Sunrise Cottage for our son’s bride to have a place to get dressed and take pictures before their beach wedding. The views of the Gulf are breathtaking and I loved how you could sit on the couch and watch the water change colors throughout the day. We were so pleased with the home and the customer service and are thinking about booking the cottage for a week over the summer. I can’t wait to see the pictures the photographer took of the bride and her bridesmaids with that stunning beach view from the living room setting the backdrop.

Amazing views!

The property is a beautiful beachfront and main room as well as upstairs master suite has incredible beach views from all angles. Kitchen was well appointed, and the decor was just beautiful, the opposite of the usual “beach kitsch” one finds at beach rentals. Comfy king beds, nice TV,s lots of chairs and toys for beach. Whenever we texted property mgmt, replies were super fast and helpful. 5 stars all the way!

Family’s Favorite House

This is our second time staying at Sunrise Cottage, and it keeps getting better. The views, the gated community, the private beach, the restaurants and the shopping just short walk away… The house has all the essentials you need in the kitchen for family meals, and the bedrooms are sizable enough for anyone staying in there. The covered patio on the ground floor with a gas grill and hot tub is perfect to unwind. You can’t ask for a better place to stay. Any issues you may have, the management is quick to respond and takes care of it immediately. We love this house and will absolutely be back!

Great location

We were there for our wedding and had friends and family in town. Thankfully, hurricane Helene didn't bother us.... The location was great! The beach is beautiful. The decks were big for sitting outside. The house was cute but is showing age and wear and tear especially for the price (which I think was off season at the end of September). The main deck was rough and the exterior doors.

2023 Vazquez Family Vacation

We absolutely loved everything about our Saturday at the Cottage we had 7 adults and 2 children and the house location and amenities could not have been better. The host Kathy was amazing and on top of it. We had a small issue where the trash wasn’t picked up and she had her crew come and get it the next morning, she was incredibly responsive We will be back!

Location location location

Super cute place with amazing view of the ocean from the master bedroom and living room. What a treat to spend a week right on the water. Charming home with all the necessary amenities for a great family vacation. Only downside was the hot tub was not working due to a recent freeze and the sofas appeared a little grubby. Probably time to change out the slipcovers and pillows. Thanks for a good stay!

Sunrise Cottage

Beautiful home on the beach. Only issue was hot tub did not work and this was known prior to our arrival. I asked for a partial refund since it was advertised with a hot tub and I was told a supervisor would be consulted but no reply so far. Beds were comfortable and beach access it’s phenomenal. House needs some TLC (couch covers were pretty dirty for example).

Family vacation

Overall, our stay was good. We loved being on the beach! The umbrella and chair service was incredible. The neighborhood was nice. I wish there were a few more amenities in the area. There were some Small things about the house that need attention. The hose on the deck coming up from the beach is in horrible condition. You basically have to try to rinse your feet off from a break in the hose. The pillows were pretty bad. As with most rentals, pans are really bad. But the kitchen was nice otherwise. Really good appliances. The upstairs master bedroom gets incredibly hot. I would definitely keep the shades drawn all day long.

Sunrise Cottage was Amazing!

For 2 years, my friend and I pick a beach location to stay for a month at the beginning of the year to reset our pampered chef businesses. We invite other consultants to join us throughout the month. Our stay this year was at Sunrise Cottage and was just perfect. The kitchen was very well stock (important for pc ladies) and the home was very clean. We were lucky to be the first group to use the new hot tub! Our friends loved having the space to work independently and in small groups. We had a couple maintenance issues but Itrip customer service was exceptional and took care of little things (ice maker and fire alarms). We all loved the location and how close it was to Gulf Point and the restaurants there. And the VIEWS are amazing! Only tips we have are just decorative: new curtains/drapes on the second floor; ceiling fans would be nice to help move air; and new furniture on the deck and on the second floor master bedroom deck. We all really loved this location!

Great Location, but a few things.....

Overall good house and amazing location...literally on the beach, walkable to restaurants, shops Here are the cons for the price... 1. You can assume folks are traveling so not including beach towels is not ideal 2. Beach chair and umbrella rental NOT included. It absolutely should be!!! 3. You are on a private beach BUT this rental does not "do something" so anyone can sit in front of, beside and behind you while others around you will NOT have that experience 4. Absolutely NO beach toys, rafts, "stuff" to use 5. In the summer if you require one week rentals, MINIMAL dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, toliet paper, garbage bags is NOT feasible. It is not enough! 6. The plants by the front stairs need to be cut back. 7. The hose to wash feet from beach is falling apart. 8. The gate code provided was wrong. We called the mgmt company multiple times. Told us the code was rt. It was not. A neighbor saw us struggling and told us the code. The only way we got in. Overall it is a good house, amazing location as you are rt on beach and close to shops BUT(and a big but) for the price the little things I mentioned above make a BIG difference and make you want to come back and tell others all about it!

Excellent Location, but other issues

You cannot beat the location of the property! You step out the back door, across the deck, and your toes are in the sand! The house is very well appointed, and the king size bed was very comfortable. We had a few minor issues when we arrived that the holiday properties tended to rather quickly. The main issue that was never resolved was the hot tub. It was dirty upon arrival - murky water and sand in the bottom. The property management said someone would be out the next day to clean it. It still was not clean when the 2nd(or3rd) guy came out. The water was also cold. The worker said he had reported that the hot tub wasn't working over a week before our visit. I spoke with the "operations manager" at the property management company and he said he would personally be out to make sure it was working properly. He did not come by, and it never worked the entire time we were there. A hot tub is an added extra that many people(myself included) look for when renting a property. The weather would have been perfect to enjoy it throughout the week. As for the house itself, as I mentioned location, location, location! However certain expectations come along with renting a nice ocean front house. The bent curtain rods and cheap shades in the master bedroom could certainly use an update. All this being said, I plan to visit this area again. I wouldn't rent this house again if it were managed by the same company. Tommie

We were very disappointed with our stay due to serious discrepancies between the listing and the actual condition of the property. Most notably, the listing showed and described the second-floor primary suite as having both a king and queen bed, which was one of the main reasons we chose this home for our family. Upon arrival, this was not the case, which caused major issues for our co-sleeping arrangement with our toddlers.The property had a strong musty odor throughout, and the presence of several dirty, rusted fans in each bedroom raised concerns about ventilation and whether the home could be properly cooled. In general, the home showed signs of wear and poor maintenance: broken baseboards, damaged trim, rusted air vents, painted-over outlet covers, and heavy-handed paint used in place of proper repairs.Communication and support were incredibly frustrating. We discovered the property had changed management multiple times (Vrbo, iTrip Vacations, and 360 Blue). When we reached out to 360 Blue with concerns, including trash bins that were full upon arrival and never emptied as scheduled, we received delayed, unhelpful responses. Vrbo support ultimately told us they no longer managed the property and offered no assistance.This trip was booked months in advance for a birthday celebration, and we were hoping for a relaxing beachfront vacation. Despite the ideal location, the condition of the property and the lack of accountability fell far short of expectations.
