Great Beach Vacation!

This property was just as described and reviewed. Randy and Laura were excellent communicators and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Our family of five and my college-age nephew and niece enjoyed our stay at Ms. Millie’s Cottage. We rented the golf cart and found it useful for picking up food nearby, exploring, going to close-by restaurants, and for driving the short distance with beach chairs and gear to the beach parking lot. We did recommend getting an extra check for the golf cart to the owners since steering was difficult for us during our stay. The house itself was beautifully decorated and had everything needed to make for a wonderful, home-like visit. There were plenty of hooks inside for hanging as well as one the front porch. There was ample seating for meals and a good amount of storage in the kitchen for groceries. We enjoyed playing some of the board and card games, putting together puzzles, and reading books that were available in the home. The most convenient beach access was easy to get to and did have some shallow lake water to cross to get to the beach. At its deepest during our visit, the water reached the thigh of an adult. I’m not sure if this is typical or if it is usually shallower. Our kids really enjoyed playing in the lake water as well as the ocean, so it provided another option for entertainment and was worth the minor inconvenience of carrying our things across for the short distance. We would stay here again!

Great beach cottage!

This is our 2nd time staying at Ms. Millie’s Cottage and by far our favorite place! Great for a small family or couples! Having the option for the golf cart is also a plus. This house is a great location for us with younger kids! We can’t wait to go back!

Family Get Away

The house was great! The whole place is in excellent condition and rather new. The home has quality finishings for the price of the rental. The property is in a great location for access to restaurants and the beach. Upon arrival I was a little concerned with beach access, but learned the lake is easy to cross and provides an alternative for the kids to play in when there is a rip tide. At this location we were able to set-up shade between the lake and the beach and watch the children play in both locations.

Perfect Place to Stay on 30A

We absolutely loved staying at Ms. Millie's Cottage. This was our 6th visit to Seagrove Beach/30A area and we've always stayed right on the beach until this stay. I wasn't sure how we'd like that but we actually loved it. The neighborhood is so cute with gravel roads. We rented YOLO bikes and could bike down to the beach (easy to walk too). We also rented the golf cart and used that to help transport us to the beach access with our chairs, etc. The actual cottage is in perfect condition, decorated so cute, very comfortable. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen are up to date and in great condition. The kitchen had great pots and pans and dishes and literally every thing you could need. We also used the outdoor grill. Even the beach chairs had little coolers in the back so you can transport beverages to the beach without having to carry another cooler. The back deck is nice if you want a little space to chill or do yoga. We loved biking around 30A, sitting on the front porch, using the outdoor shower and going for late night walks on the beach looking for crabs. Also the owner was easy to contact through the VRBO app, but we didn't need to since everything was great and in good working condition during our stay. We could not recommend Ms. Millie's Cottage more.

Cutest Beach Cottage

My family loved this beach cottage. It was decorated beautifully and was equipped with anything and everything we needed. It was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. We loved the quaint little street it was on. It was truly perfection and has been one of our favorite places we have stayed. The communication was with the property manager was also extremely efficient and effective.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our family trip! It is a short walk to the beach and I would highly recommend bringing wagons if you have little ones! The home was so lovely and had everything we needed. It is not a large home but the layout made it feel perfect for the seven of us (four adults and three small children). We had a blast and would love to go back!

Great beach house in Seagrove. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking any type of meal and beach access is close by. Wonderful hosts who are very communicative and friendly.

Cute cottage in Seagrove

What a cute little house in Seagrove!! The house is decorated so nicely and in a great location. The house has everything you need and is VERY clean. We are picky about cleanliness, this was one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in which we very much appreciate. Owners are very responsive and provide a lot of helpful tips. Beach is a short walk down the street. We brought our 2 little fur babies and they enjoyed their golf cart rides!! Thank you for sharing this cute house!!

Perfect Beach Cottage!

Literally PERFECT. I felt like we were walking into a Pottery Barn beach house. Decorated beautifully, and EVERY minor detail was so well thought out. Hooks throughout the house that I had no idea we needed-until we needed. Plenty of hangers. Extra blankets. Quality kitchen items. We were able to find parking at the beach every day for the golf cart, but was an even shorter walk than I anticipated. Our kids loved riding the cart to Seaside. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative. We wish we had access to a pool but it won’t stop us from coming back! Thank you for providing an amazing place for our vacation!

Beautiful cottage, bad location

This cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. The owners were very responsive and provided a lot of information on restaurants and other attractions in the neighborhood. However, this cottage is located in a neighborhood in transition. Many of the homes are old trailer homes that are in disrepair. Those that are sold are being scraped and large new homes are going in. In 2-3 years when that process is complete this will be a nice area, but now there is A LOT of construction traffic and noise. The street is not gravel, but a sand/dirt mixture, it's also very narrow and rutted. A block down the street a homeowner has put in a 3 foot speed bump with no markings. In addition, beach access at the East Lake access point is very difficult as the lake has spilled over and you need to walk through 2-3 feet of lake water to get to the beach. Not easy when you're carrying your gear. The other beach access is surrounded by private beaches and thus public access is narrow and difficult to find a quiet place away from the crowds. Had we known the state of the neighborhood we would not have rented here.

Lovely stay at Ms Millie's Cottage

Everything was perfect. Randy, the host, is very nice, and keeps in touch. The cottage is in excellent condition and the kitchen well stocked. We all had a wonderful vacation.

Relaxing stay!

Our stay at Ms. Millie’s cottage was relaxing! The cottage is done to perfection, nothing missing. We love the quiet area that the house is located in. Great trip and hope to return real soon.

Lovely House

Cute cottage off 30A in Seagrove Beach. The house is lovely with all the amenities needed for our family of four. The beach is only accessible via Ramsgate Beach access which is a 1/2 mile walk. Or you can rent the golf cart to haul your stuff to the beach. Also, at that beach you have to pay $40 per day to rent chairs. We were told it is a private beach. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

Wonderful Stay!

Ms Millie's Cottage was perfect for our family of 4! It's located right off of 30A on a quiet street. We found it very clean and well appointed with all key amenities provided. Highly recommed for those seeking a location close to the beach but tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

mazing Seagrove Cottage South of 30A- Quiet, wooded Eastern Lake neighborhood

We love this property! This property was fully stocked and honestly has everything that you need. Clean, nice linens, lots of towels, etc. The unit also had a lot of board games and a nice TV. So convenient to beachy bean coffee, restaurants and shopping. Rent the golf cart, its so wonderful to get around Seagrove area. The property provided chairs and umbrella, which was so awesome! I'd highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to be right in the mix in Seagrove. We had a great time!

Ms Millie’s Cottage a great stay

The entire family enjoyed this charming home. It’s in a great area to shop, eat, and beach time. A nice wooded street that is very pleasant to spend time with the family. The home is very clean and updated. We will hopefully be able to come back next year.
