The living room is a spacious and welcoming area with a comfortable sofa, television and access to a private balcony — the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the panoramic views over the Madeiran landscape. There is also a family dining table for shared meals.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and everything you need to prepare your meals.
The apartment has two bedrooms, both with double beds and curtains for light control and privacy. One bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom. The second shared bathroom serves the second bedroom and the rest of the apartment.
A washing machine is available in the apartment for guests' convenience.
The building has a lift and an included private garage — a great asset in Caniço.
All beds come with quality bed linen to ensure maximum comfort.

The neighbourhood offers an atmosphere of pure tranquillity — the ideal residential retreat for those looking to relax and slow down, away from urban hustle, yet with supermarkets, bakeries and services just a short distance away. Here, you wake up to the harmony of peaceful island life, always surrounded by nature.
Just minutes from home, Caniço offers unmissable attractions. A highlight is the iconic Cristo Rei do Garajau viewpoint, which provides unforgettable sunsets and direct access (via a picturesque cable car) to the Garajau Natural Reserve — a true sanctuary of crystal-clear waters, ideal for diving and snorkelling. You can also head to the lively Praia dos Reis Magos, the perfect spot for a refreshing swim and to try fresh limpets and fish at the seafront terraces.
Despite this serene retreat atmosphere, the location is incredibly strategic. The cosmopolitan city of Funchal is just 10 to 15 minutes away by car, thanks to easy access to the expressway (VR1). This allows you to enjoy the best of the capital whenever you wish: stroll through the colourful Mercado dos Lavradores, soak up the art and gastronomy of the Zona Velha, and don't miss the iconic cable car ride up to the lush gardens of Monte.
This address also serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the neighbouring towns of the eastern zone. The town of Santa Cruz, with its pleasant coastal promenade, is a short trip away. A little further on, you'll discover the historic town of Machico — the site of the island's first landing — famous for its picturesque bay and one of Madeira's rare golden sandy beaches.
The property is easily accessible by car.
Caniço is well served by public transport. The 113 bus line (operated by Horários do Funchal) connects Caniço to Funchal, with regular stops throughout the village. The journey to Funchal city centre takes approximately 30 minutes.
Madeira International Airport is just 10–15 minutes away by car, making arrivals and departures very convenient.
This is a property with automatic check-in and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00).
We ask all guests to fill in a registration form that will be sent after the booking confirmation, which is in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by the local authorities in Portugal.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy for utilities will apply with an included limit of €80.
For the first days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dish soap and a bin bag.
Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and bed linen for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
