The house was so beautiful and very clean. Our toddlers enjoyed the backyard and the access to the little creek outside the gate.My husband loved the place and my daughter in law was very impressed. Access to the beach was an easy, short drive. The area was secluded and private. I hope we will return soon.

NEVER BOOK A VRBO WITH PARADISE RETREATS

I've been staying in VRBO's for 25 years. NEVER had such an awful experience as with Paradise Retreats. IMPORTANT information not disclosed (such as no cell coverage, have to cross a creek -- if it's too full then park and walk over a bridge with many steps)... many things non operable (front gate, hot tub, heating in "casita", a fireplace). Told they'd have cameras to monitor ME complying with rules (not for my safety but for us being watched). When things inoperable or non-disclosed information addressed with them -- met with defensiveness, excuses, rudeness. Paradise Retreats didn't have anyone check property before check-in. Snapped at us when I let them know displeasure. They were annoyed that we were frustrated. Also -- the "casita" and the game room -- they are the garage. Garage has no heating or cooling. "Casita" has a radiator far away from bedroom -- that wasn't operable when we arrived. Found out the hard way in middle of the night. They promised some refunds for the inoperable hot tub (that we had to clean) and the uninhabitable night in the casita. Then, told us they'd have to ask the "scheduling manager." I have never been treated with such disdain. The property itself was nice. But, I will never give a week's worth of rental to this property management company again. DO NOT USE THEM. Made the stay miserable and couldn't believe they treated us so poorly. Obviously, keeping a customer doesn't matter to them AT ALL.

Great place for large family

Wonderful home with all the amenities and great for our group of 6 adults and three kids. We used the bocci ball the hot tub the wonderful outdoor eating area and had plenty of bedrooms. Pool table in Casita also very nice. Good area close to town. Casita was cold so used the space heaters provided and that worked. Got a call just before arrival that informed us that we had to 'ford' a creek to get to the property and as it was raining heavily we might want to leave one car on the highway side of the creek. That turned out to be required. Our son rented a very large SUV that just made it across...but we walked over the footbridge. So for a time our large group couldn't all go out to eat..but it was Christmas so no biggie. Good to know though...if its raining hard you will need an suv.

Great for family & friends vacation

The property is well-fenced, so the children loved to play outside when we were home. Very safe for them to have fun. We didn't realize the casita is where the extra bedroom was, the main house is 5 bedrooms, with 1 in the detached castia. Wish we knew about this detail before we arrived to organize bedrooms with friends. The location is very central and simple to get into Montecito and less than 10 mins to Santa Barbara Warf. We traveled during the summer and with no A/C, the house was warm at night. I wish there was a way to cool it down a little more to rest better. The kitchen is very well set up and is easy to prepare meals for 2 families, and the outdoor kitchen is very fun. Kids loved making smores in the evening. There are bodyboards in the casita to bring to the beach for even more fun, and scooters too. Overall, a great stay for 2 families with young children.

Family get together for wedding in Montecito

Went to Santa Barbara for a niece's wedding at the Valley Club in Montecito. Our adult children came and we all loved the home. Spacious, quiet and well equipped. Very clean. Problem with a smoke detector and the staff came right over and even gave us good ideas for local activities. The crew from Paradise was thorough and made everything smooth and easy. Would definately stay again if in the area.

40th Birthday Celebrations

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The set up worked very well for 5 couples as it allowed us some space to spread out. The grounds are beautiful and the blood orange tree was a big hit for morning breakfasts. The kitchen was well stocked although the smoke alarm is very sensitive to the oven being on. The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful and the casita provided a fun night of pool. Overall everyone agreed that they would recommend the house and would absolutely stay there again.

Beachfront Bliss

Everything about this house worked for us! We loved the location, the open floor plan of the kitchen and living space, and the house was well stocked. We do an annual early Thanksgiving weekend every year and will definitely consider returning here.

True relaxation

Private gate made the propety feel secure. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy the breeze through the trees and the chirpping birds. Even some fresh fruit on the trees. Clean and comfortable for our diverse group.

Monticito Retreat

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at SeaRenity. Ben provided us with easy to follow check-in details, and the housee was clean and comfortable the moment we walked in. Perfect for our large group (6 guys), each of whom welcomed the chance to spread out and have their own room. The backyard fire pit was the highlight of our evenings. Perfect for reminiscing about the cycling, mountain bike, and trail running advrntures we had earlier in the day. Easy access to Santa Barbara, Monticito and Summerland proved to be a valued commidity. An easy walk to the bike path and beach were added benefits. To be fair, two downside items: the Jack & Jill bathtup was stopped up, which created a minor inconvenience; ans the entry at the end of the cul-de-sac proved to be intimidating for Uber drivers, and isnt the prettiest of sights. That said, once you get through the property's front gate you're treated to a beautiful array of palms, fruit trees, succulents, rose mary bushes, and others. Really a great property! Highly recommend for families and groups of 5-7 people. Thanks for the great memories!

Private and beautiful! Great place to reconnect in Santa Barbara.

Loved the back yard entertaining and secluded feeling private grounds. Very clean and well managed property. We hope to stay there again sometime soon!

California cool, comfortable and convenient

This Montecito home was so well located and the layout was wonderful for our group of 7. One thing to note is that there are cameras on the property which felt a somewhat invasive but all in all a good experience and I would definitely stay again.

Perfect for large groups

Great location, accommodating property managers, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and massive washer/dryer set up. We all had our own space and plenty of room to work in between long days on location. Would definitely recommend.

Great house in an ideal location

The house, its various amenities and location were all pretty fantastic. It was great for our large group. The one caveat was that, for us, the strict neighborhood quiet hours (9pm) were a bit limiting for our group as we were there to celebrate a birthday. It’s less of a party house and probably more suitable for families. Regardless, though, we had an excellent experience and the house had everything we needed.

Great place for big families

Wonderfully located, quiet, plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and 4 kids, lovely outdoor BBQ and dining area, nicely appointed, and responsive property managers. I might recommend that they add more kitchen items (e.g., utensils, wine glasses, plates and cups) to accommodate a large group and perhaps air conditioning on the 2nd level (it got pretty warm in the afternoon). This did not take away though from the wonderful setting it provided for our family!

SeaRenity is Wonderful!

We enjoyed the many amenities this property offers, from the rec room with pool table to the bocce court to the hot tub. The many bedrooms accommodated our family of 10 — 6 adults and 4 children — very well. The kitchen was very well equipped with modern appliances. We had a great 7 day stay!

Great location! We rented this for 5 people to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Beautiful and clean house. Super comfortable . We did not want to leave! We plan on coming back a s would love to stay here again!
