Paradise in Ambergris

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was central and only a 5 minute cart ride to downtown. The bed was comfortable and the space was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed having a coffee on the deck overlooking the lagoon every morning. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great location!

Loved our location, close to everything but yet private! The clean pool was totally a bonus! Our unit definitely met our expectations. Communication with the managers was a breeze. I have already recommended the unit to a friend!

F101 Mara Laguna Stay

We came to San Pedro with a group of friends , we all booked our own units. Everyone that came into our unit was really impressed at how nice, updated and homey it was. It was well equipped with everything you’d need for a home away from home stay…from dishes to pots and pans (although we hardly cooked) to nice towels. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great! The first floor lagoon view was quiet and peaceful with plenty of room. The community itself was quiet, security was always present and everyone we encountered was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and stay in this unit for sure.

Needs some TLC from the owners

This unit has good location but through lack of upkeep it is deteriorating and needs some luv. Dishes are chipped with missing cups and glasses, broken stools, dressers and table falling apart. Property manager did his best with what was here Kudos to Abraham.

Mara Laguna, San Pedro, Belize

I have now stayed rwicw at Mara Laguna and both times were wonderful and wonderful service from the staff there. My recent stay in condo F101 was great. It was clean and well looked after and is a great location. Also a very pleasant view from all areas of the condo. Loved it--will definitely come again!

Very reasonably priced accommodations for San Pedro!! We love the Tres Cocos Area and have friends in the complex so it was perfect for our 4 night stay!!

Adventure

The unit was okay. The pictures show a much better looking unit. The central air no longer works and the unit now has 2 functioning wall units located in the dining room and in 1 of the 2 bedrooms. When we turned on the ceiling fan in the bedroom without air conditioning, the bed spread was covered in dust. The shower in the bathroom had to be fixed, the front porch had a burnt light bulb and we had no dish cloth or hand towel. Abraham, the on site concierge, was very nice and quick to help. We were delayed in arriving because of long lineups, and once we arrived in San pedro our taxi could not accommodate the 4 of us and our suitcases and the taxi stopped at a place to rent carts instead of taking us to our condo so we never had anyone greet us. I had emailed Michaela to let her know we would be late, but heard no reply. The people we met and the trips we made were great, it helped us forget a rocky start.

Home was very clean, welcoming and had lots of space. My Family & I had a wonderful 3 days. I would definitely book again. The Host was Amazing. He kept in touch with me prior to arrival, was onsite to assist when I got there and kept in touch with me the entire time. The only reason I didn't give 5 Stars is that I recommend an AC in the 2nd bedroom ;)

We'll be back!!

Renting this suite is much better than what we anticipated. The views are absolutely stunning! The suite is very clean and comfortable. Vasa concierge, Veronique, is terrific and so is our Mara Laguna mgr., Abraham. Some minor issues were immediately resolved. Their response time is excellent! Our vacation was worry free because of them. We love Belize and we'll be coming back. Beautiful and memorable experiences!!

Lovely, comfortable Condo

The Mara Laguna condo complex is a quiet spot on the island - it's away from the hustle and bustle of the main downtown San Pedro, yet still within easy walking distance of most amenities like groceries, restaurants and dive/snorkel shops. This unit in particular is well placed - it faces the lagoon, and is away from the main road. Our porch leads down to a green space, which we gladly shared with the resident iguana and hummingbirds. Inside, the mattresses and pillows were super comfy. This is NOT always the case in condos, so I was loving this feature. The living room furniture was soft and comfy too - and many fun games were played in there. The only thing to note is that Mara Laguna is on the other side of the bridge. There is a $5 toll to go over the bridge and into San Pedro. You can buy a weekly or a monthly pass if you are going into San Pedro regularly. If not, just pay as you go. For our week there, we were only charged $15.00 as the toll is not always open, and we didn't head into town daily. For us, it was worth the quiet location to be on the north side of the bridge.

Love the Location

Located about 1/4 mile over the bridge from town. Quiet, but close enough to town to enjoy. Condo is spacious and offers a nice view of the lagoon with afternoon sun. Michaela, the manager, was very responsive to request. We will be back!

Mara Laguna was perfect

The staff was pleasant and everyone, in general, was very helpful. The condo was in excellent shape. Well taken care of and was perfect for my family of 4. We will be staying there again when we return in October and November.

A Vacation Getaway that feels like Home.

From the very start, booking here was done with ease and minimal problems or confusion. When checking in, we were greeted with kindness and hospitality that made us feel welcomed. Over the course of our stay, we had no problems with the home and the housekeeping staff made sure to respect our privacy and only cleaned the home after asking. The pool area was great, the bar was nice, and the restaurant had great food. Staying here we had a great time and would definitely recommend everyone the chance of staying here, they would not be disappointed. Would definitely stay here again.
