What stood out is the unbelievable attention that this particular host gives to her customers. Aquátika has its challenge, with electric , cable and water service but this host goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable!! I e been here twice and I’ll be back !

Our stay was great. Carmen sent suggestions prior to our stay and was easy to contact with any issues or concerns. She really thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. Would highly recommend to others to stay.

The host was excellent- very responsive. The property itself is pretty far from any excursions/activities. The beach on the property is very small, but there is a beach about 15 mins down the road that was great. This property is not really in a city or town you can do many things- you’ll need a car to drive places. It always took a long time to get in the gate because the security had to speak to every car and I’m assuming some has issues. Also, the water guns/slide were only open once while we were there and it was when we already had something else booked, so we were not able to use them in the 8 days we were there. The home itself was great and came with most things you’d need while staying there. Overall, I would recommend this property to others but you must know you will be driving distances to get to activities/shopping/food/etc.

The proximity to the beach was excellent. The host was responsive to questions. The unit was thoughtfully stocked to make vacation more comfortable. The vibe was family friendly and the complex was clean and well maintained.

The property is nice, well groomed, and clean. There was some paint/plaster off one of the buildings, which I am assuming was from the most recent hurricane? Something to note, if you have small children, is the pool water slides and shooters is ONLY open on the weekends starting at 10am. My two littles were very disappointed to find that out.The beach is nice, but on the smaller end. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach itself, and in the shore area. Once you got out further, it was clearer.The condo itself was very clean and the instructions were easy to understand. The only thing I could not figure out is how to adjust the colored lights, as there were about 15 different remotes for them.The beds are very comfortable, the AC units in each room worked well, there were plenty of beach and shower towels, there were also a lot of beach/pool toys and inflatables. I highly recommend this condo.Lastly, Carmen was very responsive with any and all questions I had.

Great family time

This was our first time vacationing in Puerto Rico. We were not sure what to expect. Carmen was a great help. From directions to the condo to suggestions on food and activities was great. Very helpful. The beachfront gem was great. Clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the convenience to the beach. We all enjoyed our time in Puerto Rico.

Perfect vacation condo

We absolutely appreciated the extra amenities provided in this condo. Extra things like the shampoo, aloe Vera and bug spray just showed that the host really wanted you to have everything even something’s that you might not have considered were ticked off in the cabinets. I’ve stayed in lots of VRBOS and this is by far the most enjoyable with host help and amenities plus cleanliness. Absolutely recommend this place!

First trip to Puerto Rico!

We had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s rental! Our group included our family of four plus grandparents and the stay never felt crowded. The beach is steps away and we enjoyed reading and drinking coffee out on the porch. There was a nesting pair of parrots in one of the palm trees at the beach and one of them would actually land on our heads and shoulders! The condo was clean and well stocked and Carmen has excellent communication. The pools at the complex are beautiful and warm. We took a trip to a bio bay and hopped on the ferry to visit Culebra. Our last afternoon was spent in Pinones where we sipped on coco frios and enjoyed their beach. We would absolutely stay again!

Amazing stay!

Our stay was perfect! My family and I arrived late in the day and check-in was still a breeze. The unit was extremely clean and well furnished. We really appreciated the fact that there were dryer sheets, laundry and dishwashing pods for our use. The beach was perfect for us and access to other great Puerto Rico locations was very convenient. We hope to stay again soon!

Nice place, very spacious on own private beach.

It was a nice place. The private beach was ok but on the smaller side. Everything else was wonderful. Only part was traveling a decent amount to get to places if you want to do other things. I give the place itself a 5 star as far a view and cleanliness. Whole entire apartment was nice. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and very nice and updated. Highly recommend

We have stayed in Aquatica before and we love the property Carmen's condo is absolutely beautiful Carmen was responsive as was her husband Jose to any issues we had we will absolutely stay there again

Showing its age

The weather was nice.. that’s about all I can say that impressed me. It aging and needs help and there is not much around it for restaurants or things to do.. be careful as you are not in the a good area.. It’s a drive to really get to anywhere besides the National Park.. I would stay elsewhere and make the longer drive.. Oh and don’t bother with the hot tub as one doesn’t work the other is kinda warm at best.. we had fun with our friends but I’d stay somewhere else next time.. oh and careful of the cheap automatic garbage can.. it quit the first day we were there and we were accused of breaking it and losing some random part.. so the host billed us for a 75 garbage can.. just buy a cheap garbage can please.. I don’t want to pay for your garbage.. (pun intended)

Beachfront property

This was a great property. It was clean and Carmen made sure we felt welcome. The pools were great and the kids played in them everyday. Carmen even had a basketball so we could play on the courts. The condo is very well stocked, she even had sandwich bags, a cooler and chairs to take on our many beach outings. Plenty of towels, kitchenware, beach toys and anything else you could think of. The lanai was nice for sitting out in the morning drinking coffee, which I had forgot to get filters for and Carmen had those as well. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. We would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay

This condo has it all: location, unique decor, a well-equipped kitchen, beach towels and chairs, an ocean-front porch, and no stairs. The condo is a short walk to the beach, a heated pool, and a hot tub. You can enjoy the view and sound of the waves from the porch. It is about a 30-minute drive from the San Juan airport, Luquillo and El Yunque National Forest. The scenic drive along 187, next to the beach, was our favorite route to San Juan. Loiza has a high level of poverty, but the gated resort always felt safe and was not crowded. This is a very comfortable spot for a vacation and a base to explore Puerto Rico. The owner was extremely responsive when we had questions.

Perfect Puerto Rico Paradise

About the host: Carmen is amazing. She is super responsive and helpful. She has done a great job making the condo a welcome place to stay. She adds extra touches like having champagne for New Year's Eve.About the condo: Carmen has completely updated the place. All new appliances and fun colorful lighting throughout. Lots of games and everything you need to be comfortable. Her place is literally steps from the ocean. About the property: Aquatika has several pools and has strong security protocols. There is no fitness center or food option on site. My primary feedback is the mini golf and tennis court are in need of maintenance. About Puerto Rico: There is a lot to do on the island. We loved the bioluminescent tour, rainforest hike, and taking a water taxi to Icacos. We did experience an island-wide power outage for 36 hours over new years eve. While we lost some food as a result, we made the best of it and had flashlights so we could play games to ring in the new year. We appreciate Carmen for her ongoing communication and care and concern during this time. We highly recommend Carmen's cozy condo for your Puerto Rico stay!

Absolutely Wonderful!

We had an amazing time during our stay! Carmen was a wonderful host and her property was amazing! She was very thoughtful and provided many useful items like sunscreen, towels, bug spray, pool and sand toys and many other items. It was close to the beach and the beach was always very clean and beautiful. There were several local eateries and hidden beaches that we enjoyed going to. I would happily stay here again!!
