Perfect!

Thank you, Ericka, for an incredible stay! Your property exceeded our expectations in every way. There was plenty of space for all 12 of us to relax and enjoy. Marvin and Roberta were absolutely exceptional—thanks to their hard work, we never even noticed the water shortage or power outage; everything was seamless. The kitchen was a dream! At any given time, four or five of us were cooking and chatting without ever feeling cramped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing restful nights for everyone. Despite being in town, the tranquility of the space was remarkable. We truly had a fantastic experience!

The pictures do no justice. This is a fantastic property. Perfectly located in walking distance to everything. Enough space to spread out. The hospitality of Marvin and others was nothing short of superb. I cannot recommend this home enough. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at beautiful property

This is a really lovely interesting place to stay. It was great to look at all of the family history and artefacts throughout. The villa is better than the pictures on the website show. It really is a great place to stay and less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and all of the interesting bars and restaurants. There was a beautiful breeze that went through the villa and meant that we hardly touched the air con and even with 8 of us we stayed within the electricity allowance. The location was good although the property was a bit overlooked. Also just note that the trees gave a lot of shade which was great for the people that wanted it but did limit the sun bathing at times for others. Marvin and Roberta were a dream. So helpful and such lovely people. They really couldn't do enough for us. We really enjoyed our stay here and would encourage anyone to book it.

Beach house

The property was beautiful and just like the pics. The only thing missing were the hammocks advertised in the pics and the dryer. We had a great experience staying at this house. My whole family and friends were delighted with all the commodities of the house. The only downside was the hot weather and restriction on the electricity as the room fans weren’t strong enough to cool down the rooms. I understand the energy is costly but we were a little disappointed with not being able to use the rooms AC’s as freely as we wanted.

Properly is in a central location, close to everything, walking distance that is. House is well kept and perfect for family. Everything you would want from your own home. Not to mention the awesome assistance from Marvin and His wife.

Top Stay in SJDS - LOVED IT

This is a must stay!!! One of the best options in San Juan del Sur. Erica was absolutely wonderful! She helped us every step of the way, and she always communicates promptly. The staff at the house was sure to help us, all while keeping the house immaculate. We recommend staying here anytime you have larger groups traveling with you. My family and I had the best time here. We loved that everything was walking distance from the house.

Amazing vacation

Rented this house for a month !! Couldn’t of pick a better place .. location is fantastic walking distance to pretty much everything in town .. beautiful house, tons of room .. super clean .. I would absolutely rent this house again !! Erika is so easy to deal with and answers you question promptly… I think what really made the trip is the grounds keeper ( Marvin and is wife Roberta ) the nicest peoples ever .. always there if you need something so helpful .. Definitely made 2 new friends .. If you are thinking about San Juan del sur and are looking at this property I wouldn’t hesitate!! What a amazing vacation 😁

Most beautiful house I’ve ever been in and best vacation ever.

Ericka was proactive and helpful with all aspects of the trip. Caretakers Marvin and his wife (apologize for forgetting her name) acted as groundskeeper, housekeeper and concierge. Cooking is also offered. We were awe struck by this beautiful, unique and historical house built in in 1961 in the Frank Lloyd Wright style. It’s a work of art. The house is filled with photos and momentous from the Holmann family dating back to its American patriarch, Charles Holmann, who served as SJDS US Consul during its heyday when Cornelius Vanderbilt ran steamships from NewYork to San Francisco through Nicaragua. Google it. Make reservations early. We made ours six months ahead and we’re glad we did. The location is perfect two blocks from anywhere you want to go. This was our first priory because houses with stunning views on the hill mean long treks up and down those hills or taxis. Pro tip. It’s Africa hot in early October. Tarzan would say “man it’s hot. Despite that it’s totally comfortable with fans and a pool.
