Great location. 24th St with coffe shops breakfast restaurants, dinner restaurants and bars within walking distance.Noah the owner, very responsive. Small room but very clean. I would recommend for 2 people.

This place is a full bedroom and full bathroom with extras. Entrance is through the garage. The place is at the back of the garage. No trouble getting in or out. The washer and dryer that are available for use are in the garage. Once inside, the bathroom has a full shower with strong water pressure and a vanity with sink and toilet. There were two towel sets. The bedroom contains a queen bed, lower to the floor. I am a side sleeper and the mattress was a little bit firm but ok. There is a sitting chair along with a desk and two desk chairs and a small fridge and a small microwave. There are blinds on the window and doors for privacy and the blinds allow moderate sunlight in. There are two doors that open to a patio outside where there is a tiny yard. There is a small chicken coop with two chickens. The chickens did not disturb my sleep. They were pretty quiet. Would I stay here again? Yes, it is conveniently located near my daughter’s apartment.

Everything about the room was described accurately. The neighborhood is in a beautiful part of SF with great shops, restaurants, and lots of activities. The hosts were always available. A perfect place for one person,especially with the outdoor garden which and in the warm weather was a lovely place to hang out.

The short and long of it

TLDR: yes, you should stay here. Read more if you want to, but this is a recommendation. The neighbourhood is amazing, to start. Clean, diverse, with great restaurants and a grocery store right down the road. The place itself is small but clean. Little touches, like the binder of suggestions for places to visit and the best (the BEST) pillows I have ever slept on were so appreciated. Honestly, I don't think I could keep a place looking that nice in a climate that humid. And that's where the downsides came. It never dried out in there. We had the fan on in the bathroom for hours and our towels never dried. There were also little things like no spare towels and an ironing board but no iron. When we asked for spares, they were supplied in good time, but with no additional communication from the host. That's really where the star was lost. There are very strict rules for staying in the place, with monetary charges if they weren't followed (don't leave any stains on any of the linen and must turn the bathroom fan on or the fire department will show up.) Between that and the complete lack of communication from the host, there was a feeling like they set everything up lovely, but really discouraged hearing from us after that. This went both ways though, in that we didn't hear anything from them. We were warned that there was a family in the house above us, but we barely heard a footstep. Very pleasant neighbours. In summary: visit SF, stay here, ask for more towels early.

Great property at great location

Very well maintained property with a nice outdoor in the back. Noah was super responsive to all my communication and very helpful. I spent 2 nice weeks at this house while in SF for some conferences. Would strongly recommend this for longer stays in this area

We had a great stay at this property! Noah was very responsive and addressed our concerns quickly when they came up. It is a single room/studio arrangement but there is a nice patio with a picnic table which was a nice bonus.

Wonderful neighborhood close to 24th and transportation. Had everything. Closet space is a bit awkward - they could move some stuff to supply closet. But perfect for 1-2 people. Loved the view to the garden. Chickens are quiet. Enjoyable stay. WIsh I could have stayed longer!

Great stay if you are in SF for work

The location is 8 min walk from the BART system. It's a quiet area of SF. The room is clean and you have all what you need. Water pressure is good. Microwave works well. Nice large enough fridge. Abundance of tea choices provided, along with coffee. The room is attached to the garage through which you access. The room is below the owners house. The floors are thin and you will hear them walk and talk. It didn't bother me as I left early in the morning and they seem to go to bed relatively early. But napping during the day may be difficult. Otherwise, it is a great room.

Perfect spot for my quick trip to SF

Exactly as described, this was a great place for me to lay my head at the end of the day for a whirlwind stop in SF. Great location, very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
