Family trip

Loved the location to restaurants and bars. Close to the beach. The hosts provided everything needed for the beach such as chairs. The house was clean and comfortable. The hosts provided snacks and drinks upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great location!

Property is exactly between the ocean and Mission Bay. Quick walk to open sand and awesome water view. Plenty of room for sun tent, toys, & cooler without encroaching on a neighbor - or visa versa. We got what we longed for!

Great house in a great neighborhood

Incredible rental! I stayed here with 9 others and the house was perfect. The layout is great for socializing with plenty of outdoor space. It was very clean upon arrival and the hosts are very responsive. The location has very easy beach access, and the rental including beach chairs and other beach supplies was a very nice touch.

Great location! Easy access to beach. This unit was not accessible for a larger vehicle. (Was told before hand our options). Owner made it kid safe and had gates, high chairs (2) and even a port a crib.

Great Location and Close to Fun Activities!

What a great way to spend our intimate gathering to celebrate my best friend's bachelorette party by the beach. It was just steps away to the beach and so many nearby cute bars/restaurants to check out. The host was incredible with setting up a nice snack basket with great coupons to local coffee shops and even cute mini facial packets for us. A great stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house; close proximity to beach and restaurants

The house was in excellent shape and the hosts included so many personal touches, including snacks, toiletries, and baby items. We loved taking walks along the boardwalk (steps from the front of the house), many of which involved observing dolphins and surfers. Wonderful breakfast and coffee spots are walkable. We also spent a lot of time enjoying the rooftop. Overall, our group had an amazing time. I will note for future guests to pay attention that check-in is not until 5:00 pm and checkout is at 10 am. Karen and Khin will accommodate adjustments when they can but just take note in case you have timing constraints. Thanks for a great stay!!

Perfect spot!

We celebrated our dad's 80th birthday with 8 of us and it was the perfect spot and the communication with the owner was incredible. And, they even set up bday decorations and gave lots of amenities. Great owners, great place!

Beach Oasis

This property was perfect. Very clean, plenty of room, and kitchen was well stocked. Location is great- right by the beach. Has everything you need for a day at the beach. Host was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

best spot in san diego!

our stay was incredible. the location was perfect. a short walk to the beach and the house had towels, chairs, and toys that we could borrow. we walked to mission beach restaurants and the grocery store was a short drive. the house so clean and organized—they had everything we needed for us and our three kids. the hosts were so kind. they left snacks for us and were very communicative. this was such a great place!

Modern Sandcastle, WOW!

"Modern Sandcastle" had everything we needed. It truly is steps from the beach. There is plenty of space and sleeping quarters. We enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs patio when we weren't at the beach. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. The walk-way street kept the front patio peaceful for BBQing. The double garage was perfect for our Nissan Van. There were plenty of beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards! The property owners were responsive and accommodating.

Quiet place near the beach

We stayed here with adults & kids 1, 4, 10, 13 years olds. The garage was stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prep meals, plus the hosts supplied a bunch of snacks. There were books, board games, WiFi & cable, a rooftop deck - everything we needed to keep everyone busy. Nearby restaurants & minimart. Very clean. Awesome place!

Exploring Mission Beach

Room for everyone. The owners were easy to work with and a great resource for restaurants in the San Diego area. We loved the location and ran along the beach everyday during our stay. Enjoyed the coffee shop (Better Buzz) which was right across the street. (They have a great avocado toast) Perfect getaway for our family.

Nice place

Great, clean, newer place. Bedrooms were nice, living space was pretty small. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and we couldn't all be in the living room together, but then again, we didn't spend much time in the house. The owners were super nice and quick to respond. No ocean view from roof deck really, but it was a nice place to relax. Thanks again!!

Great location. Short walk to Belmont park. Super quiet area yet 1 block from busy beach activity.

Weve stayed at 3 different places in this area. This was by far the most up to date rental and well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable including shampoos, soups, and snacks.

Immaculate modern house right by the boardwalk and food

What a wonderful place to stay with my family and close friends over the weekend. The house is very modern and tidy. So clean. Every bathroom had toiletries included. The kitchen is also adequately stocked with utensils, pans, cups, plates, bowls, and even some snacks. The roof top is pretty neat. The hosts were very quick to respond and checked in on us via messaging. We were allowed to check out a bit later (by noon) because it was not peak season and no one was booked for the night we checked out. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for hosting us, we have made some pretty special memories together!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful experience staying at this family friendly home. Our top highlights include: (1) great communication from the very welcoming owner who had kindly provided kid-friendly games, organic snacks, playpens and all beach necessities for adults and kids; (2) safe area/ secure home locks; and (3) walking distance to the beach and major kid-friendly (and adults) fun areas. On a side note, the owner provided cool products for daily use, including shiseido shampoos, neutrogena make-up remover pads and many more, but perhaps my new favorite is ogx argan oil of morocco lotion (smells so good!). Will be happy to come back again!

Perfect location!

It is our second time staying in this lovely home. It is located perfectly about 200 Steps From The Boardwalk. We really enjoyed spending time on the boardwalk, relaxing on the beach using the bird scootets, beach cruisers to go up and down the boardwalk and Belmont Park. The house was very well stocked with everything that we needed from pots and pans to linen and also beach chairs, umbrellas and stuff to build sand castles and frisbees. Anything that you can think of! In light of my husbands birthday, they left a lovely birthday card as a greeting long with a bottle of Patron as a gift. We double and triple checked that we packed all of our things and later found that I left my perfume behind. They were very kind and mailed it to us. We were met with great hospitality and we will most definitely visit again!
