This was the perfect family get away location as we could walk to multiple restaurants, and it was an easy walk to the beach. The house has a great firepit which we loved to use, a hot tub, and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed using the grill. The bike came in handy as well.

Location was amazing, we walked to the beach every day. Home was super clean and the manager was very responsive. We had an issue with the dryer and someone was there to fix it the next day. Really appreciate the care they took of us and really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed a brief stay in February. The house was well appointed & the available bikes & hot tub were a nice bonus. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. The extra bedroom in back was a nice addition as well.

Great location in great area

The house is in a great area of San Diego, walking distance to both the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars. The property itself had plenty of great amenities that lived up to the listing, such as the hot tub and putting green area. Overall, the space was clean and just what we were looking for from our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach bungalow

We had a wonderful stay at Diego’s home. From the location (3 blocks to the beach!) to the hot tub to the fire pit and comfy beds, we were very happy for our two night stay.

All inclusive

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was lovely! The house was a great size and could definitely accommodate more than just the 2 of us. We needed to ask for instructions on how to use the grill and fire pit- Diego was super responsive! The location was absolutely perfect- we could walk to the beach and take a short drive to San Diego and La Jolla. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Just one night but everything was perfect! Word of caution - if you don't like a really HOT hot tub, take the cover off early. It was already turned on when we got in (which we appreciated), but had to let it cool off a little before actually getting in. :)

Great location and stay!

We loved the location and home! I didn’t pay attention to the listing that the 3rd bedroom was not actually attached to the home. This wasn’t ideal for our family but we made it work. The home was outfitted with everything we need. The simplicity of the decor was also refreshing. The hot tub and outdoor space didn’t quite match the photos - my guess is that the photos were taken right when the house was renovated or redesigned. It definitely has some wear to it now. The attached home next door is also a VRBO - almost identical home/same ownership from what the cleaning crew told us. They were extremely loud until about midnight. It didn’t wake our kids up so it ended up okay. I wouldn’t doc any stars for these things because it really was a nice stay overall and the location was perfect! Great communication from ownership too!

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay at the beach house. It was exactly as advertised. We used every single amenity including the hot tub, fireplace, grill and bikes. All were in great working order. The place was comfortable and even luxurious. The host was amazing, very accommodating of our requests, and with quick communication.

great short stay

this was a great property! the gated yard is indeed a plus! once we got the TV situation, the fire pit, rooms, laundry, and kitchen were really great. . . felt like home for us (2 people 55+ and 2 people 19-22) and our saturday night dinner guests. our sweet puppy also felt at home. keep doing what you do with this space. . .it's a wonderful retreat that is close (walking distance) to groceries, spirits, and the beach!

Great Get Away for Adult Family Trip

Home was perfect for my mom's 60th birthday celebration. The patio area is where we spent most of our time. Master bedroom and bedroom detached were great, other one is a bit tight but we made it work. Bathroom was huge and great space for our group. Kitchen was well stocked as mentioned in the post with a food store around the corner. Location was an easy walk to the beach. **only call outs- bikes were not in good shape and tires were flat and seats rusted in place. Hot tub was VERY dirty and cloudy so we did not use it.

The house matched the description on the listing. It is in a great location for access to the beach and bay. The outside area if nice for relaxing and hanging out. The property manager was very responsive to any questions and was eager to help with our stay. Very pleased with our stay.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Rent this place!

This place was amazing! The rental was just as advertised in the photos, and enjoying the amenities within the property added to the luxury. I loved how the house was centrally located within PB and near restaurants, stores, and the beach. The place was so clean, and I felt safe staying here during times of Covid. Diego was a very reliable host who was ready to accommodate my needs with quick responses and attentiveness. My friends and I had an amazing stay at this place and will definitely rent out one of Diego’s properties again.
