Pre-stay communications were excellent. A little less easy to contact after we got there (but it was Christmas week). BEST thing about the house is the incredible deck in the front with comfortable furniture that allowed you to sit, drink a glass of wine and watch the sunset and the sunset crowds every day. Well equipped kitchen & living room.

The beach area is right across the street

Graduation vacation

Joseph hosted us during our vacation to San Diego to attend a high school graduation with 7 kiddos ranging from 7 to 14. He was so helpful getting us checked in and teaching me how to take care of the house and pool. We had plenty of space for the family and amazing views! We’re looking forward to coming back! A big thanks to Joseph and his hospitality!

Perfect location

We loved our stay at this home. The patio off the front has unbeatable views and is big enough for a group of 14. Joseph was easy to contact and attentive. We would love to come back!

Beautiful property

Great location with incredible views of the ocean. Nice kitchen and living room area. The only drawback was the frosted glass doors on the bedrooms which let in some light when people were trying to sleep. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

Top Dollar, but Needs Some Attention

The location and offerings of this place are top of the line; however, when one pays for top of the line, they expect that everything will be that way. That was not the case here. Overall, the house needs a lot of touchups to be in the class to match the price of rental. Think what you would expect if you rented a studio at a major hotel such as Coronado Del, or the Marriott. Everything there would be perfect. The house is very well stocked (almost too much in the kitchen, leaving no room to stock items from the store) and very clean. The front deck facing the ocean is a great hangout space, but only during the day - There are strict rules that almost prohibit any use at night. The pool is a great feature, but you will pay almost 100 extra a day to heat it. The property owner needs to install a simple remote panel that renters can use instead of the current system which requires extensive knowledge of pool systems, or you call the property manager each time you want to use the jacuzzi. There is child proof fencing around the pool that needs to be replaced as it is torn and the gate is loose.Again, I want to emphasize that overall the house is very satisfactory, but wear and tear are apparent and needs to be addressed to command its asking price.

Beautiful home and setting

The house was perfect for our group with 1 exception. In spite of numerous efforts to get the pool heater working it did not work and we were disappointed that we were unable to use the pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub were 2 reasons that we chose to stay there as the adults and especially our grandchildren were really looking forward to swimming and soaking. The host was very active in trying to get this rectified but it wasn't to be.

Excellent Accommodations!

My family of 9 (with two in-laws) stayed here and had an awesome time! This is the perfect location for sunsets and every evening at sunset, a lot of people came to the cliffs across the street to experience the sunsets that were a part of our stay. We loved it!

Perfect Location, Very Well Equipped

Gorgeous sunsets, beautiful pool and plenty of space for our family vacation! While there is not actual beach access from the house, the view from the cliffs makes up for it. Our large family of eight had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. The host was very responsive and we are looking forward to a return visit!!

Amazing!!

Amazing!! The house, views, and location are all incredible. The home is set up great for both indoor and outdoor entertaining, and the sunsets are spectacular! The Check-in process was easy and the property manager was friendly and available throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great views needs maintenance

Perfect location and great views. However, the house is definitely in need of maintenance. Walls have marks/ gouges that need attention. Pool fence had a big hole. House smelled musty when we arrived ( as though it had been closed up for a long time) and the smell never completely went away. Shower leaked where caulking needs replacing. Joseph, the property manager responded quickly to any inquiries. Overall the views and location are great but the other issues mentioned are big enough that I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Wonderful time with family in a wonderful spot

First, Joseph is a fantastic property manager. Always responsive and helpful. The house was great- plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the views and fire pit on the front deck and the backyard and pool were great as well. We had family visiting from the midwest and while it did cost extra to have the pool heated, it was well worth it so we could enjoy the pool and spa during the 6 days we stayed at the property. We will go back again, for sure.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

This property has it all--views, spacious living areas, plenty of room, and a pool with jacuzzi for winding down after seeing the sights of San Diego. The property manager was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. We will rent again!
