The home was an absolute oasis. Our family was pampered to stay in such a lovely home. We didn't didn't want to leave. Our pups enjoyed the patio and back yard. Lovely jacuzzi to enjoy in the evenings. An absolutely gem.

Wonderful North Park property that was comfortable, stylish, and clean throughout. I tend to avoid cooking at a rental property but this kitchen was wonderfully stocked with quality items. The outdoor space was amazing esp. for a NP home.We especially enjoyed chatting with the next door neighbor, a resident since the 1940s.

Graduation getaway

Family came from all over to celebrate a doctoral candidate. The backyard was a perfect Oasis for a small family celebration. Very comfy, clean, well stocked. Great grilll and Jacuzzi, including an outdoor shower with hot water. Washer, dryer, high chair, family friendly, lovely patio seating, comfy beds. Took a minute to figure out shower head and Jacuzzi, but written instructions are thorough so read them first! Very responsive to needs and questions. We used Lyft, the public bus or walked to restaurants. Would stay again.

Perfect North Park Pad

Wonderful home in a cool neighborhood with all the amenities for a great San Diego getaway. Possibly the most well equipped rental property we've experienced, it had everything from extra linens, pillows and blankets, kitchen staples, backyard games, to beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and coolers, even playpens and toys for smaller children. Amazing outdoor spaces included both lounge and outdoor dining furniture and lighting in both front and back yards. The hot tub is piping hot and clean with great jets for relaxing jacuzzi time no matter the weather. Neighborhood is quiet and safe with proximity to a commercial district full of trendy bars, eateries and a popular ice cream spot, with neighborhood markets and groceries also nearby. We would love to stay again when back in the area.

A perfect stay

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The place was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. We loved having the hot tub and outdoor spaces, too. Our host Mari was so communicative and helpful. 10/10 experience, would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wished we could stay longer!

We really enjoyed North Park neighbor and this beautiful home. Wonderful layout, easy communication with owners, and lovely courtyard. Less than 5 minutes from SD Zoo meant we could leave with the kids and go back to the house for “quiet time”, then back to zoo for the evening. We all wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mari’s bungalow in San Diego. The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable! We loved the outdoor space and enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend!

Calming city oasis

This property was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded expectations. The backyard was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the AC units in the bedrooms were lifesavers. The only reason we chose to stay in a VRBO this trip is because my mom was coming with my husband and myself. We needed our own space. We have been leaning towards hotels again as the VRBO process has been more and more complicated and frustrating. However, this VRBO and the hosts reignited my desire to stay in VRBO’s in the future. The amenities (coffee machine, swiffer, vacuum, standing fans, Tupperware, washer/dryer, beach supplies, etc) were amazing. The attention to detail was superb. The location was perfect as we wanted to stay close to my sisters in North Park. The only thing that was missing is an AC unit in the living room area as this space tends to get stuffy in the afternoon. Thank you so much for extending your space to us. We truly appreciate it!

Family vacation

Beautiful property. The backyard exceeded expectations. It was lovely to come back to the hot tub after a day out. Well stocked kitchen. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed as far as cookware and even spices, oils etc. The beds are very comfortable. No central air but air conditioners in the bedrooms which were adequate. Private entrances from both bedrooms to the backyard. Second shower is in the backyard but private. Beach supplies available for use. Owner responded within minutes generally to questions/needs. Overall we were very pleased and would highly recommend.

Great Vacation spot in cool neighborhood

Our family of four had a great time, plenty of space to relax and was perfectly located in the North Park neighborhood which is walkable to everything. The backyard was great and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great place to stay and relax after a day of festivities in the San Diego area. The owners were attentive and helpful as needed. We appreciated it and would stay again!

Great place, local to everything.

The house is as described. Updated. Comfortable. Equipped well. Great home base for our SD outings. Very close to Balboa Park and the Zoo. Check out Baron’s for your grocery needs. 18 minutes to Jake’s Del Mar. Close to the airport, Sea World, La Jolla Beach, whale watching. Near Baron’s is a really good place to get Cali burritos. Midway is pretty close and try dinners at C Level, Jake’s Del Mar, and the Fish Market. Mari is very responsive as the owner/manager. She had great information. Never used the hot tub there is on and the back yard is gorgeous. Don’t be intimidated by the driveway. It’s narrow but take a wide berth and your car will be off of the street and right next to the side door. Kitchen is well appointed and there is a good variety of tea in the pantry.

House is as advertised. 2 Masters is very nice for 2 couples. Freeway travel required to get to Balboa Park or Lamplight District was the only drawback even they seem very close on the map.

Wonderful little house

We loved this place! There's an amazing backyard where we were able to eat, hang out, let my kids play corn hole, and generally relax. It's walking distance from all types of cute little restaurants (and amazing breakfast burritos), and the house was absolutely immaculate. If we ever come back to San Diego, we will 100% stay here. It's really a gem.

Relaxing home base for your San Diego adventure

We enjoyed quiet and restorative time in this centrally located home during our week of exploring the beauty and bounty of San Diego. After a trip to the zoo, we relaxed in the tranquil backyard and made good use of the hot tub. We loved being able to walk to really good restaurants in North Park, and many attractions are only a $10 Uber ride away.

Great Rental For Small Group

We had a great stay at this rental. After a few small glitches in communication at the beginning (partly my fault for not making use of the App), we loved our stay. House was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking pans and utensils as well as basic spices. Outside areas in the front and back of the rental were clean and accessible. North Park is close to a number of places we visited: Mission Beach, Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo. It was great as we were traveling with an almost two year old who had a short tolerance for long rides. Pack and Play with a mattress was a great plus! We would definitely stay here again!
