Great location, clean, and plenty of beds for a large family. The only drawback is that you need to walk through the family suite on the second floor to access the bathroom and walk through the bathroom to access the sleeping room (walk-in closet).

Location is fantastic, outdoor seating was so lovely for coffee or dinner. House was well appointed and had everything we needed. Having the garage for a car was huge! Host was responsive and helpful when out travel plans were disrupted. Fantastic overall, would use again.

We were really glad there were beach chairs and sand toys in garage. Wish I had been told YES when I asked. Thot we were going to have to “rent,” also, house had salt&pepper etc which was great and would have been nice to know. Toaster and dishwasher great but oven smelled like fire when preheating.

Excellent location. We were a large family group with grandparents, parents and two 13 year olds. There was plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor spaces were very nice. Being close to the beach, food, Belmont Park, etc was great. A special treat was the free rentals - bikes, surfboards, etc.

Close to beach and pleasant neighborhood. Blue Water worked hard to make things right when we reported a few problems. One had to do with floor fans which the first day we were very happy to have. After that San Diego cooled off and though the house is not air conditioned we were comfortable. . We didn’t report it but we felt the floors and rugs and furniture were dusty. Also this is a noisy place due to airplanes flying over about every two minutes quite often throughout the day. Enough that we had to stop our conversation until the planes passed by.
We had a private catered birthday dinner.

Great location, comfortable stay

The property is in a great location. Easy walk to either the ocean, or bay side of the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with the items we needed to cook. Lots of extra blankets and pillows if needed. The house was very clean and organized. Bathrooms were nice and fully stocked for our stay. The house fit our family of 8 very comfortably. The bunk beds were great for the kids. We loved all the beach toys, chairs and miscellaneous beach items needed for the beach. It was an easy 10 minute walk to Belmont Park and restaurants. Everywhere else was only a short 10 to 15 minute drive. Check in, and check out instructions were very clear and the information binder inside the house tells you everything else you need to know. Thank you for the great stay!

Awesome property!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation. There nine of us including a two-year old and 13-year old. The location was literally steps from the beach and walking distance to most restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The set up is a little different but every inch of the house is used purposefully. The middle bedroom is a walk through so we put the early risers there. The primary bedroom and connected bathroom were perfect for Mom and Dad and the crib. The fourth bedroom is a converted walk in closet which is clearly stated in the description and was perfect for Grandma who is always cold! Communication with the property manager was amazing. They were so responsive and helpful. Pro tip: we rented a crib, high hair and stroller which was so very helpful and allowed us to fly without having to bring extra bulky items. The little courtyard was perfect for the kids to run around safely and the garage was an added bonus for parking instead of having to find street parking. We had a relaxing and memorable family vacation and would stay at the property again!

Great place! Love the location and all the beds.

Everything about this place was great. Short walk to the beach and boardwalk and shops and restaurants. One big plus was the spacious garage. Plenty of room for our minivan (unlike other places we’ve rented in the neighborhood). Would stay here again.

Great location!

We loved the location of the property. An easy walk to the beach. We will use Bluewater vacation rentals again, but probably not stay at this property only because the set up of the rooms was weird. Not a lot of privacy. Pretty sure one of the bedrooms upstairs is just the master closet converted to a bedroom. And one of the rooms downstairs may have been a dining room so you have to pass through it to get from the kitchen to the upstairs & garage area.

Great place to stay

Very cute house that has everything you need in walking distance. Note the bunk bed is in the master closet and one of the bedrooms is a walk through on the first floor. Great location for food, beach and kids activities.

Love This Place

If you want a true San Diego experience, rent this house. I honestly didn’t want to leave today. Almost everything was a pro, but there were a few disappointments…the bunk room has no windows (think it was the master closet) therefore no airflow, and attached to the master bathroom so made it weird when anyone was in the bathroom. I’m a light packer and always need a washer/dryer. This one didn’t work. They were very responsive to get someone out to check it, but it couldn’t be fixed, so we had to go to a local laundromat and spend $25 that we hadn’t budgeted for. We ran out of toilet paper yesterday and asked for a new roll. We were told our to was a starter pack and we had to buy our own after it ran out. I kinda felt for $2800, we shouldn’t need to buy our own TP. These disappointments aren’t to detour you from staying here, just a warning. I would love to stay again and would come better prepared.

Super cute home in good repair. We had a family of 7 Weird room layouts. The upstairs master suite is amazing but the bedroom as part of the bathroom was weird location and a little stuffy and too hot to keep the door closed We were very grateful for the multiple fans to be able. To divert the stuffiness Downstairs walk through room was weird too, but it worked. A dresser in the downstairs queen bedroom would be nice. Kitchen was well stocked with the things we needed. Left food in the totes we brought it in. Weird smell by the windows kitchen, not sure if it was plants or cupboards. A couple of roaches, but found some spray in the cupboard. Nice that theere is a door into garage from the back yard into the garage right next to the spigot for rinsing off the beach, we could rinse and stow with ease. It is as nice that there were sand toys and each chairs and a few boogie boards sunbrella and volleyball. The garage was a perfect size for our mini van so nice it wasnt a tight fit andTrash service didn't come, but the bins were not overflowing. The host team was very responsive. Coffee pot was perc electric. Backyard d space was nice, grill was terrific. We had a great week at the beach. Close walking distance right by the guard shack.

Another wonderful 4th of July vacation with family.

The property was in a great location between the ocean beach and the bay. And close walk to watch the nightly fireworks from Sea World and the big show on July 4th. And the management was always available via text for any issues that may come up. Which was minimal during our stay.

Cute House, Great Location

Cute house, very clean. Great location near beach. Very nice patio. Comfortable beds. The property management was very quick and helpful to address our clogged shower drain. Really the only issue was that bedroom #4 didn't have a queen bed, it was a full, we were counting on it being a queen. The bedrooms were fine for us since we were all family, but the configuration is a little different. The description mentions that bedroom #4 is a pass through room and it truly is. You must go through bedroom #4 to get upstairs or to the garage. Once upstairs you go through a bedroom and bath to get to the 2nd bedroom upstairs. So it's best as a family suite upstairs. It worked fine for us, but might not in all cases. That being said, we loved the house, the location and the patio (which is where we spend our time if we aren't at the beach). We would definitely rent it again.
